I just got the same email and posted it five minutes after you did (I’m a newbie and a bit slow at posting...). I was wondering at the liklihood that the USDA is hindering the process for Honeyville on purpose? Thoughts? Or, am I’m clearly going nuts, here? :-)

“lets pass a law, and then decide how to implement it”. gee, this is becoming a trend.

How many former service men here on FR have eaten powdered eggs that were not blessed with current USDA oversight?

A couple more times of "putting them through the wrong process" and they ought to be bankrupt.

Mission accomplished.

I bet a bit of lobbying money from Honeyville’s big industrial competitors into the “right hands” could really increase the regulatory oversight on poor Honeyville.

This is one of the many ways our government is becoming a fascist collusion of governmental and corporate interests.

The power to regulate and tax is the power to destroy.

Onerous regulation (often written by, or hand in hand alongside legislators) is a tool that large corporations use to drown out any likely competition from small corporations.

This isn’t just bureaucratic incompetence — it is part of the ongoing string of deliberate government attacks on the food supply for the citizen population, much like the Russians fabricated a famine to starve the Ukrainians.

IMHO - It’s the same step the socialists have taken in every other industry - bring down the competition.

Regulate, bankrupt, repeat for each private sector.

Wow.

I am glad I got my order in October.

Maybe people can make a point of ordering from them to help them out over a tuff spot, brought to you by your friendly fascist state government.

I purchase from Honeyville, too. I’d hate to see them go under because of some bureaucrat’s “mistakes.”

I have some questions:

Honeyville specializes in powdered eggs? Food for storage?

What do you use powdered eggs for?

bttt...

There are other reports out today about delays from other suppliers. I’ve not had a problem with these folks before, and I do have a couple of cases of powdered eggs in my larder (along with six laying hens in the coop...) and I thought we ought to see if Honeyville has had any luck with USDA yet...

I haven’t seen an e-mail notice from them in some time....
