Obama flunky Bob Gates has just announced today the fast-tracking of the DADT repeal. You can bet your bottom dollar our warriors will be saddled with queer sensitivity training not to mention myraid lawsuits for "anti-gay" language or workplace hostility, etc etc. This is a National Nightmare that was pushed through the lame duck session.
Yet where are our vaunted so-called conservative leaders? To my knowledge, only Congressman Duncan D. Hunter is trying desperately to delay this thing so we can have a shot at killing it in 2012. Where the HELL are the rest of the conservative congressman and senators?
And if we are relying on our pool of candidates for 2012 to help stop this insanity, we're screwed. Only Tim Pawlenty has said he would work to get rid of this Obama/Reid/Pelosi wet dream. Everyone else has been silent, or worse.
This is a poison pill of enormous consequence, and our "leaders" have dropped their britches and grabbed their ankles to accommodate the Pink Mafia.
Call you congressmen and senators and presidential wannabes and demand they fight this horsecrap.
Every patriot from George Washington to General Patton is spinning in his grave right now.

I agree. They are all kowtowing to pink money. And they think that the gays will continue being “conservative” after they achieve their agenda.
Nonsense.
Freedom is the natural state, homosexuality is unnatural, and things seek their own level.
Here’s Sen. Ensign’s response to my outrage over his “yea” on DADT.
Dear:
Thank you for contacting me regarding the policy of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” I value the opinions of every Nevadan and am always grateful to those who take the time to inform me of their views.
As you are aware, the Senate voted at the end of the 111th Congress to allow the military to end the policy of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” During the Clinton Administration, Congress enacted this law which held that service members were not to be asked about nor allowed to discuss their sexual orientation. The law also stated that any uniformed individual would be subject to discharge for engaging in, attempting to engage in, or soliciting prohibited conduct.
As you may know, a federal judge in California recently attempted to supersede this process and ruled in court that the military must stop enforcing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” The Department of Justice subsequently appealed that ruling. I strongly oppose over-reaching by activist judges and believe that the military policy had to be carefully considered and decided by Congress so that our military leaders have time to facilitate a proper transition to the new policy. Had the military been forced to immediately stop its “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy as ordered by a court, I believe negative unintended consequences would have become much more likely and serious.
Last year, the Department of Defense (DoD) conducted an extensive review of the policy to determine any impact on military readiness, effectiveness, unit cohesion, recruiting and retention, and family readiness. That review was completed and presented to Congress in December along with testimony by our military leaders. I have studied this issue, the report, and the testimony of our military leaders and service members and have reached the conclusion that this policy can be overturned in a responsible way so as not to harm our combat effectiveness.
Under the new law, the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy remains in effect until 60 days after the President, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff certify to Congress that they have considered the DoD report, prepared any necessary policies and regulations and, most importantly, determined that implementation of this repeal will not negatively impact military readiness and effectiveness, unit cohesion, or recruiting and retention. If these requirements and certifications are not met, the policy will remain in place.
As a former member of the Senate Armed Service Committee and Ranking Member of its Readiness and Management Support Subcommittee, I assure you that I have the utmost respect for those men and women of our nation who choose to serve in the Armed Forces. I believe it is important to weigh competence, courage, and willingness to serve above all for those enlisting in the military. Please rest assured that I will keep your concerns, and the concerns of all Nevadans, in mind. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with me. Please feel free to contact me in the future on matters of importance to you. Should you have any other questions or comments, please do not hesitate to either write or e-mail me via my website at http://ensign.senate.gov.
Sincerely,
JOHN ENSIGN
United States Senator

What a schmuck.
Perhaps the GOP will manage to go down with the ship of state without acknowledging the need to finally DO something about the leftwing msm. But I'm still hopeful.
Look at the vile crap that they’ve achieved after getting their foot into our classrooms. These pinko marxists are the worst of the worst.
Schmuck is much to kind. Flaming bunghole is more appropriate.
Come to think of it, I don’t recall the talk radio stars, other than Savage, slamming this either.
The only thing left between passage and implementation is a finding by the president, SecDef and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, that the repeal will not harm military readiness -- a finding that seems to be a foregone conclusion.
The only way to effect a delay, is to have a hearing of some sort on the "military readiness" question. But it's not clear to me that a House hearing would have any effect on the timeline they appear to be on with this issue -- it's unlikely that any legislation on the matter would make it through the Democrat-controlled Senate.
Best we can hope now, is that the repeal turns out not to be that big a deal.
I miss the Klaus Nomi update theme.
Been wondering that myself. There are a lot of Rodney Kings in Congress that are going to be retired before long, Lord willing!
Hunter has legislation submitted that will certainly delay it. They need to start making lots of noise, yet nothing. The candidates for POTUS can start hammering away as well.
The time for a political solution to our situation passed many years ago. I just enjoy watching the cat fight and make sure I’m stocked up on popcorn, junk silver and lead. That hsa been my attitude for roughly six years, though it has gotten significantly stronger the last three.
There is no such thing as "normal" anymore, Katy bar the door. The acceptance of sodomy by average citizen should tell us a lot about the state of affairs.
Just how could allowing butt pirates to prance openly in the military not be a problem for self respecting God fearing servicemen? You are a real jerk.
Be civil to our political hires. They have a thin skin.
