More/video at Reaganite Republican
Thanks for posting this; I’m a fan. Dave Edmunds is Plugged In.
He is awesome, Rhoda- I love his version of “Girls Talk” by Elvis Costello and Chuck Berry’s “Promised Land” too
Lot of good bands out of Wales... it’s not just Tom Jones lol
Steppenwolf comes to mind as well-
I like Dave Edmunds especially “I hear you knocking” !
I really liked the Rockpilee collaboration w/Nick Lowe. What’s funnier than “Knife and Fork” on the “Seconds of Pleasure” album? (first ex-husband’s band used to play that back in the ‘80s.)
I still have most of this stuff on vinyl but had to replace some with CDs - now copied to the mobile device for office cubicle listening. :-)
Thanks again... there is of course a misconception that all conservatives listen to Lawrence Welk. LOL
Yep, that video’s right here- loved it since I was nine lol
“Crawling From the Wreckage” is a great song!
Yes, it is indeed. Thanks to you guys, I think I’m going to go home and have a psycho-billy weekend. ;-)
Oh, Edmunds DEFINITELY has a sense of humor... and they were often laughing and smirking on stage
To those typifying conservatives as this and that, I might tell them Todd Rundgren and Alice Cooper are conservatives, among others... and Alice is a born again Christian too
I like Jerry Reed, A LOT... maybe that makes me the guy Obama warned you about lol
Steppenwolf was very American, actually.
Forgot about that one.....awesome tune. Has more energy than a nuclear power plant.
Nope, Todd Rundgren <> Conservative. Never even married his first 2 childrens’ baby-mama.

My absolute favorite Dave Edmunds song ever!
cause when Im disconnected from the driving wheel
Im only half the man I should be
But metal hitting metal isnt all I feel
And everything is good as
It possibly could be
Now, who can argue with that?
Brain fart, my bad lol
I meant to say BADFINGER... they are Welsh, I always mix up those two bands’ names for some reason...my whole life, mental block of some sort!
Been there... done that... multiple cars lol
I read somewhere he expressed respect for the TEA Party... at least a fiscal conservative then
Got to see him play with Ringo Starr a while back...front row ! ... even caught the towel he threw out...look on youtube for live Rockpile stuff...incredible !
“I Hear You Knocking”-Of course I could immediately hear the song in my head, and I know the name Dave Edmunds, but if you had asked me who did that song before I read your post, I couldn’t have told you.
