"We want to see a typical Arab-American family that is just like every other family in America," I'm laughing already. They might also do a sitcom about unicorns...

We’ve already got one, being broadcast daily from the White House or various vacation spots around the world.
Problem is, it ain’t funny.

"Television has had the ability to demonize Muslims and Arabs, but we realize that it also has the ability to humanize us." On many occasions, muslims have had the opportunity to speak out against actions taken in the name of their religion. The streets should have been flooded with protesting muslims in Fall 2001, condemning actions of 9/11. You're complicit in your "demonization" when you do nothing to counter it. I can think of at least two instances of muslim servicemen attacking, wounding, and killing their fellow US soldiers in the last decade. In the effort to keep the US safe from terrorist attacks, your leading organization, CAIR, promotes this:

They then insult our intelligence by saying, "It's been misinterpreted." We demonize you....?

The Cosby show? You mean a show with a successful working mother and father, respectful kids that study hard, no infidelity, backstabbings, lies or deciet? one where the father is looked to for advice and counsel, whose wife loves unconditionally and never insults or undermines?
Forget Muslims, we need one of those for whites

We had a thread a few years ago with suggestions for shows for a new Muslim TV network.
My favorite was “Leave it to Cleaver.”

Quite a few successful entrepreneurs say that one characteristic of a promising business idea is that it has to sound crazy to most people.
