Wow! Just think how wonderful all that would be if she was actually a conservative!

Ping!

This article by the terrific analyst techno who usually posts over at Conservatives4Palin should be read by everyone who is in any way interested in Sarah Palin. It is outstanding.

“10)Sarah Palin does not believe in identity politics. Thus she will strive to maximize the turnout of WHITE voters and not waste her time foolishly trying to increase the GOP share of the Hispanic vote. Facts are the GOP received 38% of the Hispanic vote in 2010; there is not much room to grow. Hispanics only make up 9% of the voting population. And finally from Tino Sanandaji, Hispanics only made up 5.1% of the electorate in BATTLEGROUND STATES taken as a whole while WHITES made up over 85% of the electorate in 2008. It’s simple math folks but RINO’s simply don’t get it but instead insist on bending over backwards to attract more Hispanic voters. Sarah Palin does get it and the Left knows it.”

This point bears repeating. Sarah pa;lin can win by maximizing white turnout, which is what happened in 2010.

Closely related to this is:

“8) Sarah Palin does not possess an ounce of WHITE GUILT and will not be intimidated by the MSM who will most certainly accuse her of being too rough on Obama, too insensitive to the needs of minorities or being a racist. In 2008 McCain showed what can happen when you embrace WHITE GUILT. Don’t think that the MSM hadn’t figured out McCain’s key presidential flaw before touting him to lead the GOP into battle in 2008.”

Palin is alone among the GOP candidates in refusing to be cowed by “white guilt” and “political correctness”.

These are very significant points that techno has been making for some time. Obama’s numbers with white voters in the Battleground states like Ohio have dipped into the 30s. If that holds and is should, he can kiss the states goodbye UNLESS white turnout is depressed with another McCain style apologist who tires in vain to appeal to minority voters who are a tiny percentage of the electorate in these states instead of maximizing white turnout as in 2010.

Sarah Palin once she declares will likely get the quasi-endorsement of Rush Limbaugh

This is the only statement with which I take issue. I think Limbaugh is already endorsing her loud and clear on his show almost every day.

I have not heard him talk about any potential/declared candidate the way he already speaks about Palin.

There is not an ounce of doubt who he'd like to run.

I remember when Sarah appeared at a campaign rally in MN for Michele and Hannity covered it and interviewed both women on his TV show. There was a mutual admiration society between the two ladies and nothing has changed since. They are working with and for each other and for the furtherance of the conservative cause.

It’s simple. Palin represents the truth. The liberal progressive left is only concerned with destroying the truth.

Truth has no agenda.

*rolls eyes*

Defining conservatism as being Alan Keyes?

Stupendously silly.

We the People carry the promise of Constitutional Government.
any populist, Sarah or not, will carry that to DC.

The Oligarchs will do anything they can to prevent that.

I agree with you and was going to post exactly the same thing. Good thing I read through the thread. I will go a little further though and state that I think that Rush will not only endorse her, but make a huge deal of it as well as putting his money where his mouth is.

No. Alan Keyes has nothing to do with Sarah Palin’s fundamentally faulty positions on core principles of conservative conscience.

Very well put together, techno. With a little editorial cleanup, I think this could easily outshine anything on the Wall Street Journal opinion pages. You should submit it.

I surfed there as well. Matthews said that Bachman was even stupider that Palin, so I guess Sarah should be flattered.

I do not know how these people sleep at night.
