We have to be honest folks, Fox news has been drifting further and further left over the past several years.
The natural instinct of most conservatives is to defend the channel that the far left attacks on a daily basis.
A similar occurrence came during the eight years of the Bush administration, where the left was viscous, conservatives defended as we witnessed a president advance a very liberal agenda.
My point is that the formula that who the left hates and goes after is not necessarily who they oppose (As in Palin) but a tactic to redefine what right wing news is, leaving a conservatives isolated, as out of the mainstream while in reality making up the majority.
Now at FOX we have people who claim the center and hear both sides of the issues in a sort of consensus building liberal manner.
There is no right or left in the truth, so a motto like" fair and balanced "seems more along the lines of the Hegelian dialectic (Marx) than a show determined to get down to the facts.
We are told to praise someone like Juan Williams, who has stated many times that the Tea Party is racist and that conservatives are extreme.
If you don't think the NPR comments were a set up to have conservatives embrace him at FOX then I think you need to open your eyes.
Beck is probably the only palatable show.
Hannity has become unwatchable; from time to time he has on a conservative like Bachmann, Palin or Demint but for the most part he has ex Bush elites who despise the Tea Party and mock the most conservative candidates while giving Obama a pass on his radical transformation of the country.
When Sean brings up the whole Newt conservative revolution, I want to hurl on myself.
Is Sean this naive, all you have to do is look up his voting record for the last 30 years?
So here we have Michelle Bachmann giving a speech tonight post state of the union and FOX does not have the common decency to air what most of its viewers want to see; an American patriot, not an inside the beltway hack, reminding us that we do have a voice in Washington.
The left has effectively made us think that Bush was a conservative and that Fox news reports the truth both are flat out lies.
Bet we see her on Fox:

Don’t like the tone of the article.
I won’t freak out about Fox and the Bachmann coverage until they fail to air her comments. Doesn’t matter, because she will be heard either way, if you’re interested.
Bears repeating.
I quit over 5 years ago for the same reasons.
O’Reilly, well forget that!
I'd rather be beatened with an iron bar than watch either one of them for a full hour.
Well that was not my whole argument if you actually read my post.
Hannity has become unwatchable;
Actually, I prefer Hannity to Beck. Beck seems like an emotional wreck to me. I've never seen Hannity break down and cry. Of course, Hannity wasn't sent to a FEMA camp.
Let's lay off Fox. I think they should air Bachmann, but even if they don't, Fox remains light years ahead of the other networks.
Lets lay off FOX?
When was last time you heard discussion on the maoists, communists, marxists and other radical groups with direct influence with this president other than Glenn Beck?
You don’t, you hear how the president is moving to the center and how he is moderating as he bankrupts the nation towards collapse.
You can do whatever you want, but facts are stubborn things and I will continue to point out that FOX is moving left, sorry its still America.
I have such a hard time getting past Beck's blubbering and tears that I don't always get to exactly what he's talking about other than it often sounds as if he's terrified, paranoid and off balance. But, that's just my take. Maybe most people think he sounds like everyone else they associate with.
Hannity can be a little loud and overbearing at times, but I don't think he's insane or emotionally unstable.
As for Fox, it is what it is and what it is is a big improvement over CNN, MSNBC, CBS, et al. So, I want to cut Fox some slack when they don't do everything exactly as I would want them to do.
This is the problem with America, decades of saying oh well it could be worse over and over, now we are here on the verge of collapse.
Just like a month ago after a blow out election , if I told you the dems were going to pass Don't ask don't tell, START, extend welfare by 300 billion, pass a food takeover bill and other government grabs would you be happy?
No instead our side looks to the defeat of the omnibus bill that was never intended to pass but to look as destructive as possible, to satisfy our side, while giving cover to the RINOS that voted for the other bills at the same time.
The bottom line is what gets passed, not what is stopped. Its almost like the saved or created job scam.
Now the republicans are talking about cutting 100 billion when they added 300 billion post elections. If my math is right that's an additional 200 billion of spending for 2011.
So, to get back to my point, the fact that FOX news is the best network compared to garbage does not make it good.
The best continues to get considerably worse and that's the problem.
It seems you like Beck so let me use him for an example. It seems to me that the theme of his message is that the federal government has overstepped its constitutional role in operating unconstitutional welfare programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. I believe that's basically the message Beck wants you to believe he's sending.
So, show me a tape of Beck calling for the termination of the Social Security program, or the Medicare program, or the Medicaid program. I don't think he ever actually calls for the termination of those welfare programs, programs he implies and wants you to think he believes are unconstitutional.
Do you think Beck and Fox aren't afraid of offending the Social Security and Medicare recipients in their audience?
I do. No wonder the man is an emotional wreck.
Fox ain't perfect, but it's better than the rest.
I just wrote about the “better than the rest” comment, and to say to lay off them for that reason is not a coherent argument in my opinion.
I tried.
Palin 2012!!
fox is invested in seeing either Huckabee or Palin get the GOP nomination.
Fox does not like the alternate media.
the internet “killed” readership for the NYT and the internet can just as easily take the viewership of Fox.
Besides Matt Drudge is the official homepage of their newsroom.
Palin 2012!!
