This is a 5 minute audio clip of a Detroit Human Services worker's phone mail message as well as two follow-up calls of the worker which were recorded.
Granted, this is just one side of the story and there's no way of knowing what the applicant for services said to the worker...once they made it through that obnoxious announcement! All social workers are extremely overworked and have huge case loads in Michigan, but there is no excuse for this.
PS: Be sure to listen all the way to the end but be warned — the last part is NSFW!!
For later. I could use a laugh today.
*sigh*
Government workers- the best kind of workers you can have!
“JUST WAIT UNTIL GOVERNMENT WORKERS ARE RUNNING HEALTH CARE!!”
A scary, scary thought.
Yes,she should be fired! How dare she tell the truth about
morons that she has to deal with.
OMG,this is a funny message, well at least the last part is..At least she told them what she thought..I think it is the same as I feel..Get off your lazy butt and get a job..
I was sitting here listening to this and thought, what’s wrong with the ending? and then she started talking again. And again. Oh.my.gosh.
A sailor wouldn’t talk that trash. ack!
Considering a lot of front-desk DHS workers are from the same welfare families, you’ve got that right.
Democrats!!!
“All social workers are extremely overworked” just like all other government workers? So much work, so much tax money to churn thru and redistribute, so little time.
My wife worked for the state, and had to leave an endless voicemail announcement for the cretins who’d call and leave a message saying “It’s Joe - call me.”
Don’t be too rough on these democrats - both government worker and aid recipient - they need help.
Here is what happened to two of them on their way home from their government offices.
