Yup: Oswalt is on that list of folks in showbiz who ... well, let’s just say I try not to cause any money to flow into their pockets if possible. It’s why I wouldn’t pay to see loony James Cameron’s “Avatar.” I see some of Oswalt’s good, apolitical shtick, but I see it for free on YouTube.
At some level, I have to respect him for this, though: He KNOWS he’s going to lose business in this sense, yet he flaps his mouth anyway. Even Robin Williams — obviously a big lefty too — usually tries to keep his material somewhat politically ecumenical. Oswalt, in contrast, is aiming for (”Ratatouille” co-star) Jeneane Garofalo’s career path.

The left: “Palin is an idiot! Palin caused the shootings in Tucson! Palin says she sees Russia from her house! Bush caused 9-11! Bush lied about WMD in Iraq! We have to ban guns because of what happened in Tucson! It’s all that right-wing rhetoric that caused the shootings!”
Yep... the left is all about facts.

I heard that podcast, and while that statement, annoyed me, it was hardly newsworthy. Wow, another Hollywood guy, leans a little left, shocking!
It was about 30 seconds or less out of a 90 minute conversation, and I believe the only part that touched on politics.
He came across to me, more like a typical, politically ignorant, actor parroting Liberal talking points, as opposed to a rabid, highly political lefty. I almost got the sense that he when he mentioned the existence of a “left-wing noise machine” he realized that Hollywood establishment would be furious, so he qualified it with the “fact based vs. emotion based” drivel.

Now, is this guy somebody I should have heard of before?

Another one bites the dust. Sounds like more and more of these idiots on prime time bash the right for everything. This Patton goof was once part of the cbs show Kings of Queen after several seasons.

Psychological projection or
projection bias is a psychological defense mechanism where a person unconsciously denies their own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, such as to the weather, or to other people. Thus, it involves imagining or projecting that others have those feelings.[1]
