MTV Knows New Show May Break Child Porn Laws

Some crimes deserve harsher punishments, because they hurt children. Producing child pornography is one of those crimes. But now that MTV has discovered their hot new show may be considered child porn, their biggest concern is showing things as close to child porn as possible without getting themselves in legal trouble. Instead of running away from the disgusting act of showing kids in sexual and even nude scenes, MTV is seeking legal advice to push up against state laws without breaking them.

Skins (trailer here) is a new MTV show that premiered last Monday night. The program features teens involved in pretty explicit scenes of sex and drugs. Now that people have seen what the show is about advertisers (Taco Bell for example) are dropping it, family groups are boycotting, and some are calling for investigations that MTV may be breaking both child porn and sex offender laws.

The show’s problem is not simply about what it portrays, but who they have used to portray it. The vast majority of the actors on Skins are under 18 and some are as young as 15. So the show that has nudity and highly charged sexual scenes is actually using 15 and 16-year-olds to do those acts. If these scenes were filmed by a random adult in his home then he could possibly face 20 years for child pornography and become a registered sex offender. But MTV is a global empire and they are doing their best to avoid any legal problems.

MTV has been a liberal garbage dump for over a decade. It had a great start in 1981 but went downhill starting in the late 80s.

The program is on the “edge” but have you been to the mall lately? Admit it, you can see a LOT more skin there!

Long ago I blocked offensive channels on my cable. I wish there was a proactive venue to utterly destroy this wretched excuse for an “entertainment” channel. I’m afraid that the majority of cable viewers now falls into the category of liberal perverts who not only accept this vomit but are truly titillated by child porn. God help us. The people in control are themselves controlled by unspeakable evil. What next? Maranatha, Lord Jesus, come soon.

I used to have MTV on all the time when I was a teen in the early 80’s. They used to play long blocks of music videos with very few interruptions. It used to be a lot of fun, and exposed me to music I hadn’t heard before. Do they even play videos anymore?

The best days were in the beginning 1981-1985 playing rock-new wave videos and music news and concerts. I had a crush on Martha Quinn. I think those were the days when cable was only out in the suburbs white middle class.

MTV LAUNCH FIRST DAY SATURDAY 12:01 am AUGUST 1st , 1981 1st hour Part 1

Later after cable moved into the Cities it turned into the liberal garbage dump it is now, About 10 years ago before I got digital cable I saw they had a homo-sexual dating show with two guys kissing on a Saturday afternoon for the kids, and they were doing liberal Rock-the-vote. Destroy a country by destroying it's youth.

Here she is on MTV:

Martha Quinn Robert Fripp B-52s Brian Eno Henry Paul Band

This is what I remember nothing like todays cesspool channel:

Quinn was born in Albany, New York, the daughter of Nina Pattison, a retirement counselor, and David Quinn, an attorney.[1] ...She got the MTV job even though her prior on-camera experience had been limited to a few television commercials. Rolling Stone magazine readers selected her as “MTV’s Best-Ever VJ” years later. Quinn's petite, girl next door personality made her extremely popular among viewers.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is it true that former Communist countries were actually quite conservative as far as sexual depictions in media, that porn was considered a product of “Western decadence”?

I think you’re right about them being fairly conservative as far as sex is concerned but when they say western sexuality I suspect they were speaking of European sexuality.

America has always been fairly puritanical as far as sex is concerned and didn’t really come to America till WWII.

In this case we’re talking about American communists using sex as a destructive tool.

IMO the parents of the “actors” on this show should be publicly horse whipped.

I’ve read that Taco Bell has withdrawn their sponsorship of this show. Hopefully the others will follow.
