Regarding The Black Tea Party
The American Thinker Blog ^ | January 21, 2011 | Lloyd Marcus

Posted on 01/22/2011 3:29:27 AM PST by Scanian

Since their national debut on the Hannity Show, I have been swamped with patriots wanting to know my opinion of the Black Tea Party. Some are offended by blacks separating themselves. From my understanding, these black patriots are not separating themselves. They are simply hosting tea parties in urban areas. I say, "Right on!"

There is a saying, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". In principle, I would prefer not to have a "black" tea party, Republican club, etc. However, there is a catastrophically destructive vicious fire breathing dragon wreaking havoc across America named Obama-zilla.

Daily, Obama-zilla is devouring our freedom, liberty and culture; destroying America as we know it.

Desperate times require desperate measures. So, while the concept of blacks feeling the need to have separate conservative groups is not my cup of tea, I gladly welcome the fresh troops to join our team, expanding our ranks, to help defeat the vile beast.

Also, the liberal media would LOVE for us to reject and beat up on the black tea party. They will exploit any and every opportunity to call us racists and distract us from staying focused on defeating the real enemy of the Constitution, Liberty, Freedom and America....Obama-zilla.

So, Black Tea Party, brothers and sisters, WELCOME HOME!

Since I am a Latina, I guess I should start a Latino Tea Party for enforcement of our Immigration laws.

BECAUSE there is ALREADY a Latino Tea Party pretending they are Conservative ....THEY support AMNESTY.(( Like Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly))

I agree with Lloyd Marcus. I don’t see this as separation. Anita Moncrief seems to be a positive role model for any group. If she is using it for the good; more power to her.

I noticed the other day on Fox that Don King is involved with this (”Crispus Attucks Tea Party”).

I have to wonder whether they really should get enmeshed with a conman like King.

Que sigas! Le deseo mucho éxito.

Beck is for amnesty? I’ve never heard him say that. O’Reilly is surely a closet Democrat and Obama suckup who will go along with amnesty. He had Gerry Rivers on last night talking demagogic crap. Fox is turning into another CNN, little by little. Ailes heard from us FReepers two weeks ago about Gerry and Sissy Shep. He said he told “the boys” to “tone it down.” The only ones I’ve noticed toning anything down have been the supposed conservatives like Brit and Dr. K.

This was posted about a year ago by FReeper, ThePatriotsFlag on a thread about the lack of leadership in the Tea Party Movement.

Something special is happening with the Tea Party Movement of today. Of course people will try to gain control of it because it is a very powerful source of energy. But the concern that it is “not controlled” and therefore “doomed” is unfounded. It needs not be nor should it be confined ... to a leader, to an organization or to a specific plan. Such activity would nullify the greatness of what it has become to date and could grow to in the future. One needn’t worry ... one only need to join the energy, shun people who attempt its control and allow plans to be spur of the moment. With a leader, there is a target, with an organization, a counter-organization, with a plan, a thwarting of the plan. But as pure ENERGY ... nothing can stop it. Think of it is energy ... join it, and be a part of this historical change-making effort.

Having different factions within the Movement will be self-destructive. To have "leaders" within the Movement will bring the same destruction.

Anita Moncrief helps the Houston Tea Party in a black neighborhood: she doesn’t like the segregating narrative, either.

If I were running for public office, the main plank of my campaign would be the absolute destruction of hyphenated Americans of every stripe.

I would propose the introduction of legislation making it a Federal Crime, punishable by deportation, for any American citizen to refer to themselves as anything other than an American, period.

And that, ladies and germs, is why they won’t let me hold public office of any sort, which is most likely as it should be. Most of you wouldn’t want to live in a world where I had control of any sort. /s

Chicago Lady, I don’t think he was pushing amnesty in that video-—he was saying “document, DEPORT, and put in the back of the line” and at the end he started worrying about a repetition of Reagan’s mistakes with amnesty in the ‘80’s.

Also, he criticized “anchor babies” and a mis-interpretation of the 14th Amendment.

He did talk about a “bigger door” but that is for legal immigration. Which wouldn’t be a bad idea if the EDUCATED and TECHNICALLY COMPETENT people of the world were given priority over people who cause social problems.

I’m sure Beck would love to increase immigration in order to have “fertile missionary fields” for Mormon missionaries(I maintain his whole “schtick” is acting out Joe Smith’s “White Horse Prophecy” with him, Beck, riding the horse. I am convinced that Mormonism is #1 with Beck.). But he seems to be promoting more legal immigration and not blanket amnesty for border-jumpers.

Divisions by race should be unnecessary, but I am with Lloyd Marcus on this one. At this time, there really needs to be highlighted the fact that conservative beliefs are held by folks in the black community. I read an article the other day that made the point that most blacks, for some reason, seem inextricably and blindly bound to the Democratic Party, unlike Hispanic, Asians, etc. I find this odd, because many blacks have strong religious and conservative roots. A black tea party group hits the libs square in their racist story line with the realization that the tea party never has been a racist organization and it will be a welcoming home for all blacks who subscribe to basic conservative principles.

I don’t see Lloyd as any kind of troublemaker with this.

Don King, on the other hand, could be a problem.

Lloyd and his buddies need to be vigilant about hustlers and exploiters. And Democrat infiltrators.

If they are Conservative and they are more comfortable in their racist grouping... so be it. I believe in the right of “Free Assembly”. Maybe they will find our diverse Tea Party events too alluring to stay segregated. If they are truly Conservative... then we all believe in the same things and the only colors that we should recognize are RED, WHITE and BLUE!
