She doesn’t do the head-ear shake thing.
We did do the que tip thing on the outer portions, very very gently. Then a damp tissue a little deeper, but I was not going to go into her ear canal. We will take to the vet and ask advice. The smell is really only noticeable when your head is near hers. Not bitter that we we can see.
But the vet will tells us more.

Its good you’re near a vet. Out here we have to do for ourselves.
If she is not shaking her head, you have caught whatever it is early.I bet its just ear wax build up.
