I am on one run by Freeper LucyT. The list has some great conservative women on it, Fred Nerks being one of the most prominant of intellectuals on the entiore site.
It will take a while to see your way around, but don’t be afraid to ask to join a ping list, they keep you up to date on the things you may find you’re interested in, often way ahead of the news outlets.

It will take me a while to figure things out.
I see that these message threads have one message after another (newer ones under the older ones). Seems like a pretty cool way to follow all the messages in the topic thread. But sometimes there are so many messages posted in a short time frame that it is really helpful to quote the message text that you are responding to.
Is there a quote button here, or do you just highlight and copy and paste like I have been doing?
And also if I may additionally ask, does the quoted text go at the top or bottom of the post? It seems like for shorter selected quotes they should be at the top with the reply under them. Yours was a longer amount of text so I copied and dropped it underneath my reply. Or does it matter?
Some forums use [ and ] tags but I see the message HTML enabled and I assume that means I can use the < and > html tags for format text commands like bold and italics and color ?
If so is that how pictures are posted, by using the < img=”picture.jpg” > html tag ?
Sorry, I am rusty on my text editing of html, as I have too much familiarity just using copy and paste into Microsoft Office and similar word processing programs, and that doesn’t seem to work here...
