I can only speak for myself when I say I knew nothing of Barack Obama, a/k/a Barry Soetoro nor of Vattel (or Blackstone, or Kent, or John Bingham, etc), the writings and intentions of the framers regarding NBC prior to the summer of 2008. I was admittedly ignorant on this topic prior to then. I would hazard an educated guess that a majority of people in this country were in a similar situation.
So far, he and his apologist’s like yourself, have managed to escape the truth. He won’t be able to replicate that in 2012. Far too many people are now educated on this topic (again, myself included). The truth will eventually win out.
His “best-seller” book meant nothing to me then, nor now.
Oh, and the governor that has never stated in a court of law (or as a matter of public record) that the alleged short form Barry has produced for your consumption is in fact genuine...yeah, that governor:
The reason the Governor never stated anything in a court of law is because no Obama eligibility lawsuit has ever moved to a trial phase however the Governor’s Director of Health testified under oath to the legitimacy of Obama’s birth information before a state Senate Committee and obviously that was good enough for the new Speaker of the House: “The State Of Hawaii says that President Obama was born there. That’s good enough for me.”—John Boehner
I believe that there are two ways to resolve the Obama eligibility debate once and for all:
1) A grand jury investigation in any jurisdiction where the name Barack Hussein Obama appeared on a ballot; and/or
2) A Congressional investigation into the Constitutional requirements to be a natural born citizen and whether Barack Obama meets those requirements.
Both Grand Juries and Congressional Committees have subpoena power.
My interest is in resolving the issue the right way: by Grand Jury investigation or by congressional impeachment.
I believe that civil actions are nothing more than frivolous nuisance lawsuits that have no impact on any sitting president, whether that person is legitimate or illegitimate.
And of course Speaker Boehner say's what he says. Do you, for a nano-second, believe that man has a spine? He's terrified to address the issue, like so many of the others.
