Of all the "progressive" dishonesty over the past week, the idea that conservative figures such as Sarah Palin have self-servingly inserted themselves into the debate is the sleaziest. Lefties blamed Palin for the Tucson shootings almost immediately, instantly placing her a defensive position.
Talk show hosts were also wrongly singled out, including Mark Levin, who has decided to fight back against MSNBC and its smear machine. After a solid week of anti-talker/Palin attacks, lefties then rewrote history to claim they had willingly jumped into the fray for publicity.
Rather than stand by during the dirty tricks campaign, Levin is going on the offensive. Not only has he threatened to sue the far-left cable network, he's defending Palin as well, offering $100,000 for evidence she's "promoted the murder of anyone

Levin fightng for Sarah Palin. If only more would jump in... Rush has defended Sarah nearly every day, since the Giffords shooting. Laura Ingraham has stood up for Sarah on a few shows since then, as has (remarkably) Savage.
I can't speak to the rest of the talkers, but I've heard those named above defend her on numerous occasions lately. What I'd really like to see, are some elected Republican officials publicly stand up for her.

In response, Levin said this in an email to the Radio Equalizer: "I notice this tough guy is actually a coward. We will be monitoring him. He's dumber than dumb, so he might actually step in it. As an aside, he has no ratings, so if two of my people monitor his show, that will double his ratings." Haaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha!!

What a great flag........from the early days, and still relevant.
I really like what Levin is doing. He's making them put up or shut up.

Agreed. Chris Christie should take the lead given his recent, pre-Tucson criticism of her ability to ‘relate’ to the public.

Sean Hannity has spoken out forcefully and repeatedly defending Sarah Palin. He has also exposed the many lies and smears from the MSM.

I think some may be standing up, but it's not being reported. Well, T-Paw made some semi-supportive statements about Sarah in an interview he did this last week. I'm sure you've seen it.
Someone told me yesterday that Newt came out strongly in support of Sarah over this latest attack.
Other than those two, I'm not aware of any others. Not only are the majority of them MIA in defense of Sarah Palin, they aren't doing much of anything to fight the sleazeball press, like she is.
There's only ONE Republican leader who's got the courage to show up and fight when the fight is on, and it's Sarah Palin. The rest are cowering under their desks, waiting for the 'all clear' signal so they can come out and play leader again.
I don't know how much more of this Republican voters are going to have to witness, before a strong majority realize that Sarah is the ONLY presidential hopeful that is worthy of our support.

The line has been drawn in the sand. It's big (R) republicans versus conservatives and the grassroots.
My country for a conservative with a spine who will stand up and defend the Tea Party and the first amendment!

Sarah was absolutely right in using the term ‘blood libel.’
That's exactly what it was. We all know the the history there. In modern terms, it would apply to an individual or group (as in dems) falsely and knowingly accusing another of the death of innocents.

Chris Christie should take the lead given his recent, pre-Tucson criticism of her ability to relate to the public. If Chris Christie were a real conservative, he'd be knocking off liberal heads in support of Sarah, but he's not.
As far as I can tell, he's a moderate Repuke who is very good on one signature issue. Other than that, he's nearly indistinguishable from a blue dog Democrat.

Indeed. Most of them need to be sent a white feather which they can wear proudly while they yak it up in the mixed seating section for the SOTU address.
