Seahawks Fall To Climate of Hate In Chicago
Sense of Events ^ | 01/16/2011 | Donald Sensing

You should have known something like this was going to happen. The vitriol and anger in our nation's sports talk has never been harsher - and we may as well face it: most of it is coming from Chicago Bears Fans.

So today a squad of violent men, emboldened by the climate of hate in Chicago towards any of "Da Bears'" opponents, committed murder. Murder most foul. They killed the Seattle Seahawks' chances of playing in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks were sent to their football grave. The Bears beat them - beat them, mind you - 35-24.

The Bears, urged to their lethal deeds by radio commentators and fans, were merciless. With quarterback Jay Cutler at the helm, the mayhem they committed upon the hapless Seahawks was relentless. This is what sports has come to, fellow Americans: open combat instead of friendly competition.

How can I root for either the Jets or the Steelers? Of the remaining teams, I’m going with the Packers!

Packers !

The Jets only won because of a climate of hate they created.

Will Packers and Bears sit together on sidelines?

Poor Seahawks.........

OTOH, I was quite surprised to see Rex Ryan's Jets get inside the heads of the Patriots. It was really funny. For once a Ryan coached football team actually humiliated the opponent. It's usually the other way around.

Foot Rubs for everyone! No happy endings though......

Bears only beat the Seahawks because of the lack of Global Warming. The Seahawks whooped dem Bears in Chicago earlier in the Season when the globe was warmer.

I can't root for the Jets.

Who wants to see a team with a trash talking egomaniac who has nine illegitimate children (and those are the ones we know about!) to be a champion?

I couldn't root for the ghetto talking (Who Dat?!) Saints last year either.

That was a Ditka coached football team. I'm a big Buddy-ball fan. I was a Philadelphia native most of my life and I loved Buddy Ryan.

Playoff games however were not Buddy's strong suit. He looked like a deer in the headlights most the time.

Best defensive coach in the 80's IMHO. A little short on the other side of the game however.

My wife watched all those Michelle Ryan foot-fetish videos on You-Tube. She thought they were cute. She then wanted to see the ones where things get steamy and raunchy. When she discovered there weren't any like that she wanted to know what all the fuss was about?

I took her smart phone away for a while.

LMAO! I love it. The only problem with Seattle losing is that I have to listen to a bunch of whiiiiiiining Seattleites make excuses about why the Seachickens lost (of course while sipping on their overpriced lattes).

Not to pick a fight but what’s to like about Carroll?
He slimed his way out of being caught cheating at USC by jumping quick to Seattle, leaving all the new recruits to pick up the pieces; he was coach for USC (I went to UCLA); AND...
he LOVES Obama!!!!
Soooo glad he lost...

Not just the eighties. He was the DC for the Jets 69 championship team. Namath got all the glory for that game, but the Jets D held the Colts to seven points.

Being a Cowboys fan, I didn't like Ryan, but I thought it was sad for him that in his final game as an NFL coach (head coach for the Cardinals) when he walked off the field, people were booing him and throwing stuff at him. Just a sad end for a career that had that many successes.

Read an article about him a year or so ago, and apparently his wife has some serious health problems, and he spends most of his time looking after her now.

Urlacher? UGH!

Will he be at the presidential dias with his half black baby from the fling with the black whore?

I can’t even look at the man anymore. And I’m a Bears fan!

YUK!
