It was well known that Christie is soft when it comes to social conservatism. It also never appeared to me that he was a champion of liberty, either, so this is no surprise.
Hmm I feel like NJ has bs-ed the voters again. I didn’t expect much although I voted for Christie but I really didn’t expect this. I am liking him less & less.
Christie was vociferous in his support for Mike Castle in the Republican primary for Senator in Delaware. Wonder why.
Could be because Christy preferred Castle over Coons?
Coons is as left wing as they get. Castle is a RINO but
would have caucused with republicans.
>>The very same Sohail Mohammed boasted that the deputy director of New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security is “someone we can call 24/7”. <<

Let me guess. The dNC smear machine is busy carrying out “hits” upon anyone that might threaten His Zeroness.
At some point Freepers and the right will wake up to Christie. At best, he’s Bloomberg with Jersey manners.
Didn´t know that!
What a helll...
This man seemed to be a valuable one...
To support Islams sharia is to diminish America in heart!
Gona keep an eye on him much closer from now on...
Daniel Greenfield knows nothing of Passaic County’s politics.
There are not many lawyers of the caliber of Sohail Mohammed in the area who can relate to a client who is a fundamentalist Muslim. As in, almost all the Muslim lawyers int he area do corporate law, very few trial lawyers.
Qatanani, who is probably a dangerous man, and who has definitely sent money to terrorists, is also allowed legal representation of his choice while under the US civilian legal system.
I know people who have worked with Sohail for over a decade since 9/11, they all spoke highly of him during a prior matter... and he’s not a fundamentalist, even if he represented one at trial.
The Newark based FBI also trust the guy, as well as the Passaic county small clique of powerful political hacks from the Democrat party, including the prior Sheriff’s top guys.
Greetings pandoraou812:
Thought I’d pose this to you, since you’re the only FReeper, by profile, that even admits to living and voting in the Garden State.
Despite falling to this scam, Governor Christie is the best thing that happened to New Jersey politics in my lifetime.
What say you?
BTW, my interest in NJ is beyond my all expense paid vacation at her southermost tip. Some of my extended family lived in Basking Ridge and East Orange. All ultimately voted on the future of NJ. With their feet.
Cheers,
OLA
Greetings JerseyHighlander”
Thanks for clearing the air on this one. Funny how shortly after this was posted, a piggy pile of posts trashed Governor Christie.
I do love the smell of zotted trolls in the morning.
Cheers,
OLA
Just for confirmation
Greetings Pontiac:
I’ve attended Eid al Fatirs too; heck, even sent Eid greeting cards to Muslim friends. Guess my Muslim friends are really infidels; just because they sent this Christian a Christmas greeting card? We used to call this mutual respect.
Today that makes me eligible for the terrorism watch list? This guilt by association game to smear Governor Christie is very lame.
Cheers,
OLA
Thanks for the ping B4Ranch.
It is a tough call but war forces us to make tough calls and we wont always be right.
Qatanani acknowledged being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan when he lived there in the early 1990s. The Muslim Brotherhood is a banned organization in Jordan by the way.
The Muslim Brotherhood may not be listed as a terrorist organization in the US but its stated goal is subversion of the political systems in the west.
This man may not be a terrorist but in war it is better not to take chances. Homeland Security was not sentencing the man to death or imprisonment, he merely to be deported.
I would rather a man who aspires to be a leader in this country be more conservative about the safety of this nation.
He falsified his visa application. He testified that he was not aware of his conviction in Israel. I would prefer that he supply some proof of that before he got a permanent visa.
Thanks for the reply. Agreed Qatanani is a dog feces collection bag. Governor Christie, while not conservative enough for my tastes, is rising in influence.
Being a Illinois native, I recognize this tactic on Governor Christie as a classic Chicago democRat Machine style political hit job. Keep an eye on the Chicago Mayor race, if the race tightens enough, Rahm’s opponent will suffer an equal fate.
In the wake of Illinois courts sudden departure from domicile precedence, to rule in Rahm’s favor, all the street smart politicians dropped out of the Mayor's race. Like rats abandon a doomed ship before the ship casts off her mooring lines.
In Christie's defense, sometimes you think you know people, and later it comes back to bite you. A fellow LEO, a man I thought I knew very well; embarrassed himself. Today a prison cell is his “home.” If fate found me running against Rahm, the Machine democRats, using the Chicago TV & print media whores, they would smear my good name by associating me with the imprisoned LEO.
Cheers,
OLA
The Jordan political party that represents the Muslim Brotherhood has been legal at various times in the past. I believe that was so in the early nineteen nineties.
(Thanks B4Ranch for the ping)
Christie: just another political hack initially making noises like a conservative!
