Voila.
From Daily Kos on January 14, 2011:
Host a SOTU "Together We Thrive" PROGRESS PARTY! It's time to Network For Progress!
We need to put the "working" into NETroots!Join us in DC and/or reach your local Obama/OFA, Progressive, Democratic and other Cause or Civic-minded groups and activists to host a State of the Union Party on Tue 1/25 and future collaborations so we can re-build the coalition that has been neglected since November 2008. Although OFA has done lots of great work the Social, Social Media & Media outreach efforts we need to compete with the GOP's Fox News/Tea Party "Axis of Evil" have to be more coordinated for us to Mainstream HOPE over Fear in the public discourse.
If you would like to discuss ways we can strengthen our "Yes We Can" Movement in 2012 and beyond please email Jim...
Nah, "Together We Thrive" isn't political.
he gets away with it because the lame stream corrupt biased media cover for him, lie for him and does his dirty work for him.
Check out rule 20 and 21 of the communist manifesto.

Check all of the rules out if you have time and you’ll see that these communist movement has been fighting since 1963 and what is more scary is that they are nearly finished with their agenda.
Oh and check rule 15 and sadly many old Dem voters have no cf rule 20 and 21
Ramblings from an unhinged lefty. FR mentioned.
Honestly, this is the one case in which I am leaving Obama out of my frustration. I was certainly disgusted by the atmosphere, by the rock-concert mentality that saturated the memorial and surrounds the tragedy. I see the connection between the “memorial” and the Obama campaign, for sure. It pisses me off.
The thing is, when I listened to his speech and later read the transcript, it did not sound like it fit in such an atmosphere. It sounds and reads like something appropriate to a memorial, making the REST of the event seem out of place. I did not watch or listen to the rest of the event, only to Obama’s speech, so I don’t know what anyone else did.
Taking it STRICTLY on its merits, and setting aside my distrust and dislike of Obama, the speech was fine. Had someone we liked said all the same things we’d be applauding. I think we would be better served to take away from this the positive and let the idiocy of the goombas on the ground devour itself. We have a lot to be angry about, we have a lot of reasons to distrust Obama and even more reasons to oppose him. Perhaps this can be a peripheral concern while we focus our energy on the issues that threaten us more? Things like Rep. King’s proposed gun legislation, or Brady’s attack on free speech?
I’m not saying we shouldn’t be frustrated, and that there is anything excusable about the use of this event as a campaign tool (which we all know it was). I just think we would be better served to let this be a minor concern while we focus on the major concerns.
Whew, good thing. I was afraid this crisis might go to waste./sarcoff.
Good job FrankR ,how about all the aborted babies under O’s watch are they thriving?
Excuse me but wasn’t AXIS of EVIL a (gasp) Bush term.
NO ORIGINALITY
Regurgatating old zero campaign slogans and stealing Bush dicription of alQaeda.
Err, I should probably add that this is NOT excusing the morons at the Daily Kos, or anyone else. THEY are deserving of our attention and concern, and they are utterly detestable. That goes for everyone handling this the way the Kos is. All of them.
I just have this feeling that this was the first and only thing Obama has done right, and it is being defecated on because of the organizers, his fans, his troops, his goombas, his fanatics, his worshipers and all the other nutballs. I don’t know that he will ever get another thing right, so it’s a shame that the libtards have to screw this up.
Did you check the left upper magin notes?
The question is: Is that the speech he was originally going to give or the one that was re-written after Sarah Palin released her own speech that morning?
That may explain why you perceive that his speech didn’t match the atmosphere in the stadium.
I suspect that the original speech, if there was one, was much different than the one he gave.
The memorial was for a union audience and the audience in turn exhibited typical union behavior. A no brainer. Organizing For America is nothing if it isn’t a union charged effort to more broadly take over our grade schools, as well as provide a local watering hole for community lefties located in every town across the nation. The tee shirts were the blazing example of their audacity and purpose, which Obama supports and leads. We have a show down on our hands, a political, moral, religious and cultural show down, and are hampered on the right by the establishment republicans in DC, in the face of stunning progress the marxists have made in every institution, especially education. Until we turn our attention to the anti-American marxist foundations of public schools, university and academia we can not expect patriotic citizens in the future after our generation is gone. The only equalizer is that the marxists love abortion and contraception where they too diminish their own numbers, except conservatives love contraception themselves, both sides contracepting themselves out of existence. What a future as our candidates and leaders continue to ignore infiltration of our schools. When will Sarah and the gang of others even mention the source? Crickets.
someone is already selling the shirts on ebay. i don’t believe these are originals.

That is definitely a possibility. And an excellent point. Still, I try not to operate on “what if” but “what is.” We certainly have plenty of reason to believe he and his handlers would pull a stunt like that.
But what I do know is that it was a good speech, respectful of the victims. It was the behavior of the crowd that was inappropriate, and the atmosphere created by the organizers.
If we are going to run with the idea that the speech was changed in response to Palin’s speech, why didn’t they change the whole shebang? They have the means.
I know my position on this is going to cause a lot of my fellow conservatives to jump my arse. That’s fine. It’s not the first time I’ve pissed off people on Free Republic. I just shake the feeling that the focus on the rally and speech is distracting us from McCarthy, Brady and King and their antics.
Why did the speech allude to a need for more “civility” in our political discourse?
I would even say that was the main focus of the speech itself. How does that topic relate to the shooting in Tucson? Why not focus the speech on protecting wildlife or the merits of space exploration instead? Those topics would be equally relevant.
That’s where I start to get confused by those impressed with this “speech”.
That rally seems like it had been planned for a while.
