The number: Way worse than expectations of 415k, and a big jump last week, and a big jump from that sub-400K that we got right at the end of 2010.

Word for the Day: “unexpected”
Expectedly, this was unexpected.
For two years now we have been forced to endure our once free country being torn to shreds. Future generations are already broke and they had no choice. We have watched our country being slandered and bankrupted by this CIC before the rest of the world. We have been robbed of our jobs and prosperity by the Democrat party. The have corrupted every thing that we hold dear and ignored the will of the people.
We have watched our soldiers be left without the ability to protect themselves. We have been forced to pay for the slaughter of the unborn and a mockery made of tragedies.
and in one night, we are now supposed to be in adoration because of one speech. A speech written for the very purpose of reelecting a disingenuous liar that never goes to church. He quotes scripture as though he does, but plenty plenty of Sunday free time for the golf course.
I am so disgusted and very sad for America. You see, it doesn’t matter if the speaker is lying and posturing for the camera. That the speaker is not really who he is prtending tobe. It’s all about the words. No matter that it was all a big show. It’s just the words made me feel so gooood!
Several typos there, sorry.
I had it a couple of days ago, and I feel fine, but certain things just don’t appeal to me right now, like alcohol. Three out of the four kids had it, and today’s the first day this week that all 3 kids have gone to school together (snow day Monday, sick days Tuesday and Wednesday). Fortunately, it wasn’t a strong bug, or we’re fast healers, or both ;)
It is in the teens outside now, but we’re supposed to warm up to the upper 40s and 50s this weekend! My husband said that it snowed 6 inches where he is in Ohio yesterday.
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Very well thought out... I can’t add anything to it... dead on.
LLS
Stimulus + Bail outs = Democrat Depression
It’s worse....
The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 770,413 in the week ending Jan. 8, an increase of 191,686 from the previous week. There were 815,593 initial claims in the comparable week in 2010.
770,000?! Holy crap.
Now here’s reality folks - I said last week that I didn’t believe the “3 handle” folks nor that the problem was over, and that seasonal distortions and idiocy in the labor department was responsible. Of course “idiocy” implies unknowing distortion, which is a damn hard argument to make when the “errors” are all in one direction - and they both are and have been.
How about intentional lies instead?
In any event this ought to take some hot air out of people’s BS-running lungs.
The other not-good thing is that the ranks of those going back into the extended programs was up for the week of the 25th too - by 195,000.
