I kinda agree with you; the leftists and media licking their chops and drooling at the opportunity to demonize the conservatives; most of the public out there are ignorant...they believe whatever they hear. If they only pay attention to or watch ABC NBC CBS, they’re likely nothing but useful idiots. I make it a point to talk with friends and coworkers, to make them aware if what’s going on.

I think it is a good post. It pretty much sums up my own feelings.

However I do think that in the long run the two “sides” are pretty much in full polarization. You aren’t going to get either to change their minds.

The only ones who might be persuaded one way or the other are the so-called independents.

I'm betting on option 3 : A few more days of liberal "pundits" still trying to push the SP/TP 's fault meme, to declining numbers of readers and interest, while conservative thinkers push back, in the print media and on the radio (most of their readers and listeners are already conservative so this will mostly be preaching to the choir, but some of their points will spread to the 'undecided/moderate/apolitical). A few big mouth congressscum will try to use this atrocity push anti gun/anti free speech measures, all of which will quietly die in committees. Business as normal some time next week.

And hopefully Giffords will make a full recovery and return to work before the end of the year.

Good parallel, using the Reichtag Fire as an example of the Saul Alinski Fascist rule tactic. The Reich wanted to rebuild the old facility anyway, so they obviously torched it themselves to get public support for hunting down their political enemies and prosecuting them.

The sickening thing is, it worked. And Amerika frighteningly resembles Germany during that time. They were in an economic/financial upheaval, their moral fiber was gone and their people (public opinion) were completely controlled by the Reich Media Propaganda machine.
