Well...it happened. that "event" that some libs were saying a couple of months ago--that Obama "needed, to "get back on track". Many of us feared that it would happen BEFORE the election. Something in late October--maybe a couple of days before the election. The "Reichstag fire. Something I, and I am sure others have been fearing--and warning about, and explaining to, people I know and meet, for a couple of years.
I am not particularly liked on this site. many here think of me as a "kook", Looney", fanatic" loser" among other less kind terms. I have also been called here, a number of times a "thread killer" meaning that after I respond to something--that thread is suddenly stopped. A lot of it is over my "catch phrase-- a simple little saying that I did NOT come up with--but DO use::
"It's all part of the big plan".
Sure--people here may not like that saying. But more and more often it is TRUE, isn't it?? and never more so than NOW!!

For three days now, ALL I have heard is stuff like "It is Palin's Fault!! It is the fault of that "vitriol" (must be the new "buzzword" for the libs now, like "Gravitas" was in 2000 about Bush). WE MUST "reign in all of those "haters" and even "the shooter is a "Tea Party member". I have even heard some internet kooks say that PALIN and RUSH and BECK, at all are the REAL SHOOTERS!! ALL of this of course---is to try and "gin up" a renewed drive to "silence those "right wingers and Christians" (something the Antichrist---WHOMEVER he may be--will NEED--to take over the world.)
Is this the "Reichstag fire" we have all feared?? if the left has it's way--it will be.
I can see only TWO possible outcomes from all of this--unless it dies down in the next couple of days or so::
(1--after spewing so much OBVIOUS lies and distortions, attacks on the right and Tea Party, and calls for stifling free speech for "some"--It will become obvious to ALL--that the MSM has only ONE goal--and that is to perpetuate the leftist--and fascist--agenda---even after it is TOTALLY PROVEN, that the Tea party or Conservatives had NOTHING to do with ANY of the shooters motives. This will result in a HUGE backlash that will make the Rathergate scandal look like a misspelling error. NO ONE will EVER believe them again for ANYTHING serious regarding politics!!

(-2--The Left will be successful is getting the conservatives to "take the blame and shame" over the shooting. This will allow a BUNCH of new gun laws, speech laws, renewed sympathy for Obama and his Lib agenda--and pretty much SILENCE ANY dissent from his---and their--agenda. At that point...we will NEVER AGAIN be able to get any "common sense" laws passed--or prevent any evil ones, as it will always be called"vitriol" and NOT be allowed. The masses will follow right along.....and the country will become another WW-II Germany.
Needless to say, I- and I am sure MANY others--are hoping for--and PRAYING for the first scenario. Because--if the SECOND one--or ANYTHING remotely similar plays out--this country is FINISHED.
ANY country where one group of citizens can say--or do--pretty much ANYTHING they want in society, and another group in the SAME country is NOT permitted to respond or have ANY real freedoms, can ONLY be called one thing::
FASCIST!!
WE MUST NOT allow this one to "get away from us"!! We CANNOT allow this become the "Reichstag fire the left has SO longed for!! We owe it to this nation, those who fought for it, founded it--and those to come after us. If we just "cowe in the corner" and allow the demonms to "set the tone and agenda"--then IO fear the second scenario may become a reality--and that long--ago dream--where the guy with the clipboard in his hand--surrounded by armed stormtroopers" comes to my house and says" we are hear to check your house and see if you are in compliance"....

If this atrocity had been committed in January 2010...Who knows what they might have shoved through? If in late October/early November 2010....I don't even want to think about it. But as it is, with the failure of their meme plus the loss of their supermajority, I think any anti First Amendment/anti Second amendment bills will go to committee 'for further study" and be quietly shelved.
But it does behoove us to watch them closely, and to protest the current proposed measures and any subsequent ones vociferously. Let them know that no, we WON'T sit down, shut up, pay our taxes and vote as they tell us to.
The sickening thing is, it worked. And Amerika frighteningly resembles Germany during that time. They were in an economic/financial upheaval, their moral fiber was gone and their people (public opinion) were completely controlled by the Reich Media Propaganda machine.
So, who the hell do you think you are newbie/Troll? Some kind of opinion police? The poster of this thread is spot on and has a valid point. Which is well above and beyond your track record on this forum.
The vitriol from the Left, that started immediately after the massacre, was to be expected. This will backfire on them. The hypocrisy of the leftists' alertist rantings alone will nullify it amongst the normal thinking peoples of America (i.e. those who changed the face of the House of Reps in November). Only the stalwart supporters on the left will except the diatribe we've heard spewed forth from liberal media. This will pass, just like gall stones or kidney stones...but nonetheless, pass.

Woah, relax man. I didn’t say his opinion was invalid, just that his way of expressing it hindered clarity. If anything I’m a grammar nazi, not the opinion police.
As far as my disagreements, I think he (and possibly you) are overreacting to the Tucson shooting. It’s not the Reichstag Fire, it’s not going to have any kind of lasting impact. A crazy guy shot a politician, that’s something that hasn’t happened in America in a generation, and hasn’t happened since the advent of the “24-hour news cycle” or the internet.
You just watch, I bet the only thing that comes of this is both sides pay lip-service to toning down “vitriol” while being savagely vitriolic towards each other, and maybe Congresspeople get a security budget, but I doubt that.
So far....it looks like my 1st scenario is not going to come to pass..praise the Lord!! The second my not either, unfortuantely...but that third scenario someone else mentioned—where the msm just “burns itself out” on the constant drumbeat—and is rebutted by our side, and such—and the truth is then obvious—resulting in some people”opening their eyes” may just be coming to pass.
And no “bad bills” getting passed either, just “withering on the vine”.
I would be satisfied with that one!!
