Pima Country Sheriff Dupnik appeared on Fox News in which he directly blamed Sharron Angle and Sarah Palin for the shootings that occurred in Tuscon, Arizona that critically injured Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, killed 6 others, and injured at least 12 others.
Dupnik said “When you have people like Sharron Angle in Las Vegas running against Harry Reid making outrageous statements such as ‘we need to resort taking the 2nd amendment into certain cases’ and for people like Sarah Palin to say ‘we have people like Gabby Giffords in our crossairs’, I think those statements are totally irresponsible and they’re not without consequences and I think we may be seeing the fruits of it right here.”
Liberal bloggers began the blame game right after the tragedy occurred. At the forefront of the accusations was the founder of the extreme left-wing Daily Kos who tweeted “Mission Accomplished, Sarah Palin.”
Now the talking points and opportunism is being repeated by a majority of prominent Democrats. Many are also using the event to push through legislation that would outlaw threatening lawmakers as well as taking the opportunity to push through a new gun law.

Did Palin, in fact, say this? If so, where/when? All I've seen is the map that's been circulating like wildfire.
Have you ever noticed how when a muslim blows something up, the American left is quick to avoid labeling that person as a muslim, and - if they do - they are certain to point out that this is a radical - clearly not representatives of muslims in any way? But when there is an opportunity to pin a shooting in the U.S. on conservatives, no matter how specious the claim, the left is sure to paint the entire conservative movement as inciting violence?

I Googled the “Gabby Giffords in our crosshairs” quote and the only references to it are the quote from this dumbassed sheriff.
Had Sarah actually said that, it’d been all over the ‘net.
It’s time for Sarah to cue up her lawyer and fight back. These are acts of libel and slander and need to be countered ASAP.

I asked Keith Olbermann yesterday on Twitter: “Why is it when Muslims commit acts of terrorism, it’s “not representative of Islam” but this is the tea party? Thoughts?” His response? “I don’t know.” Then he said he didn’t blame the Tea Party. They can’t answer the question.
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but it was Obama who came out with the hacking off peoples feet for a buck and it's been shown when Palin was referring to Death Panels that it's true and Limbaugh was doing a tongue in cheek statement about Dems's wanting to starve kids.
This would be in contrast to Lib commentators wanting Rush's heart to blow up and ripping out Cheney's heart, etc.
