Late Saturday night, Fox News Channels Geraldo Rivera, discussing the Arizona Safeway shooting that left Congresswoman Gabrielle Gifford injured and six others dead with Tea Party 365 co-founder David Webb, went there by invoking former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Palins name has been linked to reports on Saturdays shooting thanks, in part, to the crosshair imagery used in her so-called Hit List of 20 politicians, previously posted on website Take Back the 20.
However unfair the link is, said Rivera, I think that this event affects Sarah Palins at least short term political future. He then offered his prediction that, tomorrow, Palins name will (still) be tied to the medias flurry of reports on the shooting, facing criticism and scrutiny for a perceived link to alleged gunman Jared Loughner.

(I hope he sees this LoL!)
I agree. Geraldo is just stating the obvious. Just because he's predicting something to happen, that doesn't mean he believes it ought to happen.
To fail to do so is to be willfully complicit in the calumny...
Mayor Giuliani would’ve been even worse than Senator McCain, hard as that is to conceive of. When Senator Fred Thompson tanked, we were in a world of hurt.
Once the truth comes out and it can’t be sugar-coated either.
Full exposure and full description of the vile, Lefitst homosexual, child murderer, would-be assassin, mass murderer.
What is this “decent journalist” thing you speak of?
They’ve been doing that for years.
Somehow, Ailes seems to think they have value at Fox, though few others agree with him.
I was shocked at how blatant was the smear.
Especially coming as it was from Fox.
I am still shocked at it. It disgusts me.
I don’t have any respect for Geraldo but after tonight he should not be working for any legitimate network. I’m not mad, I’m disgusted. This was trash.
Anyone have any contact info on who we can complain to at Fox Snooze?
Red dots do it to me. They look like laser sights!
The headlines will now have legitimacy:
"Fox News' Geraldo Rivera notes that this murder will definitely affect the candidacy of Sarah Palin", Katie, Keith, lets talk about this . . . .
yitbos
He talks too much.
It's a theoretical being, never seen in the physical universe...
Yeah, that busted window at her HQ must have been a truly hair-raising experience.
NOT
Look, what happened to her was disgusting but these people know the risks when they meet with the public. Angry people are an occupational risk for politicians.
Funny, all those “angry” townhalls attended by seniors and conservatives mad about Obamacare resulted in ZERO violence except for the beating given the black flag vendor in St. Louis by union goons.

Hope you are right, but there is a big difference between back pedaling and reporting the truth as loudly as the screaming of lies that happened today.
The truth and all of the truth will have to come from conservative talk radio as normally is the case.
Here’s a blogger spreading his garbage under the guise of news. He got a “source” from a “palin supporter” that the shooter was inspired by Palin and the Tea Party. Got this from a FAKE facebook page set up AFTER the shooters name was released. If one has time to read crap, here’s the link.
The guy knows it’s not true and he doesn’t care, spinning away.

some of the comments are something else (the ones from the author and “towanda”
The weak-minded people who would be affected by media smears aren’t the type which listens to talk radio anyway.
Asspress stories are blaming everyone in sight, from Palin to Jesse Kelly, Giffords' last opponent. Our nutball sheriff here, Clarence Dupnik, even blamed Sharon Angle on TV today. One of the doctors involved, who treated the deceased little girl, insinuated on his Facebook page that Dupnik was a nut for politicizing this.
Giffords lied her way back into office last year, using sob stories from soccer moms and useful idiots who said they were afraid of Jesse Kelly, while mischaracterizing the Flat Tax as a tax increase. People here are more stupid than the average voter. They bought it.
Giffords is my representative, and there's nothing remotely conservative about her. She votes for cap and trade on down. She doesn't even live here, but that doesn't matter to Democrats. Keith Olbermann loves this so called “centrist” so much he sent her money along with her pal Grijalva.
If the GOP couldn't beat her this last time, she is in for life. The city of Tucson is run by idiots for idiots. It's San Francisco without the charm and rich people, located in the middle of a desert.
But Democrats will use anything and everything that happens, especially things that happen directly to them, to tar and feather anyone who disagrees with them. The template now is that nasty politics, meaning disagreeing with Democrats, leads crazy people to do lunatic things. They have had to grab onto that one because the dirtbag shooter was a leftist who liked communism and probably Obama too. He's a nutjob who kept disrupting classes at Pima College, but according to Asspress he's an anti-government activist driven over the edge by politically nasty people.. (Republicans)
In 1995 we had OKC, and this year we have this. Both occurred as Republicans emerged to block the Democratic agenda. If this hadn't happened, something else would have. Dems and the media are masters at using this stuff.
I'm in the district and every report here is heavily politicized tonight, whereas if a Republican had been shot, if in-depth coverage took place at all, there would be no sanctifying of the injured representative, and equal numbers of people would be invited onto television reports to say how “controversial” the fallen GOP congressman or woman was, while the focus would be concentrated on the other victims and peripheral matters relating to the case. There would be no round the clock coverage and they certainly wouldn't have tried to pre-empt the NFL playoffs, as happened here.
This is all very sad, and some very real people have been injured and killed by a madman in my town. Politics would never be worth such a thing. We all know that. But try telling that to rabid Democrats, who possess an amazing array of hobgoblins and straw men that they can adapt world events to on a whim, and who the truly insane, meaning those in the media, will advance reinforce, and propagate to the detriment of us all.
