(WIREUPDATE) — Despite the rhetoric found on Twitter and liberal websites there is absolutely no shred of evidence that Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck ever once influenced the gunman behind the mass shooting in Tuscon, Arizona. By all accounts Jared Loughner was an insane individual whose online ramblings do not reflect either the former Governor or the television host.
In the hours after the tragic shootings we have learned very little about the gunman. According to former friends he was considered ‘a loner’ who used recreational drugs and listened to music such as Jimi Hendrix and The Doors. He was able to legally obtain the gun that he would go on to use in the shooting of 19 individuals.
Liberal commentators such as Keith Olberman and DailyKos founder Markos Moulitsas were quick to give blame to Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck for Loughner’s actions despite hearing any evidence that would suggest Loughner was influenced by them.
Jared Loughner’s obsession with Arizona Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords wasn’t a recent occurrence. Long before Sarah Palin posted a Facebook image declaring Giffords as one of her political targets during the 2010 mid-term elections, Loughner told a high school friend that he spoke with the Congresswoman. He asked Giffords a question and determined she was “stupid and unintelligent.”
This meeting occurred a year before Sarah Palin was a household name, in 2007, and three years before the infamous ‘targets’ image was posted on Facebook.
sorry.....but name calling is not exactly form of debate and it didn’t seem on subject....it’s late..forgive me for what seemed to be an insult......but wasn’t that the point? Nobody likes to be insulted...especially when they did nothing to deserve it..such as being born with black skin.
Politcal correctness to me is about “colored people”, then “negroes”, then “afro-Americans” then “blacks” then African-Americans” then “people of color” and they call you the N-word if you use the wrong term for the present politcal correctness.....
If I call somebody “crippled” instead of “physically challenged”, or whatever is the term I’m supposed to use today.....then I’m gonna protest when somebody claims my words constitute some moral lapse......
but I don’t think I can defend the idea that it’s ok to call blacks the N-word and they shouldn’t take offense. Isn’t it MEANT to be offensive and insulting to call somebody a N-gger? You can call people whatever you like.....I don’t think I said you should be arrested...
Sadly, it appears as though Americans are not supposed to speak up when they disagree with an out of control government. We’re supposed to just sit down and shut up.
The original Facebook page was not fake. The subsequent Facebook pages (the ones with Sarah Palin's pictures, and the name spelled "Sara" was fake).

We’re so not. It got worse and worse with the name-calling and everything from the Left -— all because we dared peacefully assemble to protest “healthcare.”
I was at probably 98% of the protests/tea parties (usually good times after work or on weekends), and 2 out of the 3 townhalls held about them. I would have left my baby, if I had one, with any of the conservative/libertarian folks. That’s how nice everyone was.
I heard that Linda Lopez, rep from another district, today on FOX. She was horrified by some of our 2010 campaign signs calling out the truth. Conservatives didn’t have the millions upon millions to buy the CD8 seat via lying commercials, so posted a lot of signs. Nothing mean, nothing dishonest. But “hate speech” to the Left.
Now, I don’t know anyone who’ll go back out with a sign. I sure won’t. And the Communists march on.
Any evidence the shooter was influenced by Francis Fox Piven or Ted Rall both calling for violent revolution?
Kid probably influenced by Piven, but he probably wasn’t aware of it, or lucid enough to know he was being used by revolutionaries.
But the black, like the left, the sheriff, are telling us what words or thoughts we are to have.
They have the problem!

I couldn’t agree with you more - unless these people are brought to task then there will many people who will hear the lies and believe them and not hear any retractions etc. This is the way Liberals work - they no it is not going to reach the MSM if they are wrong so they are free to sensationalize and lie all they want. A case in point I have had to put two people right in the last month who told me that Sarah Palin was a nutcase as she said she can see Russia from her house.
