When I was growing up, my parents taught me that if you want people to think youre smart, just shut up. They didnt encourage me to shut up completely maybe they should have but the lesson was: never talk about things you know nothing about and people might think youre smart.....
.....For several years now, the elites have been trying to fool us in believing that two people, one on the left and one on the right, are very smart people. On the left, we have the President and on the right, we have Charles Krauthammer. We are being led to believe how smart they are but if weve learned anything in the past year, it is that both of them may be a lot of things but smart isnt one of them. Both appear not to have learned this lesson: if you want people to think youre smart just shut up.
In July 2009, in trying to defend Henry Louis Gates, President Obama started out by saying that he didnt know the situation and that he hasnt seen all the facts and yet in the same breath, he went on to accuse the Cambridge police of being stupid. If the President was really as smart as we are led to believe, he would have just done what smart people do: shut up!
This brings me to Mr. Smarty Pants Charles Krauthammer. Yes I call him Mr. Smarty Pants because thats all Mr. Krauthammer is. Anyone that can go on a marathon degrading someone he knows nothing about is anything but smart.

Any you know this how? Because the MSM told you so.
Have you gone out and talked to a thousand people about Sarah Palin? I have, and the MSM propaganda doesn't hold water.
Krauthammer is not saying Palin cant be elected because he thinks she cant be elected. Hes saying it because he doesnt want her to be elected.
Exactly. And exactly why he cannot be trusted to tell the truth about anything.
I think you think you are smarter than others and thus you will always lose the debate.
I agree
Kraut and Rover - Perfect together
A search of the Internet and articles posted on FR as recently as 2 days ago show that the only factual statement your posted is "attacks the GOP (Delaware Senatorial) primary winner.
That is what the Lib Media is trying to sell. Are you falling for it? They want McRomney or Jeb McBush.
You sure about that?
Because you disagree with his evaluation of Palin doesn't make him a complete and utter liar. Do a quick search of Krauthammer on FR and see the latest articles he wrote about Obama's effort to rule by regulation.
Aside: I'd love to know what Krauthammer said, behind closed doors, about Reagan during that campaign. I don't suppose it was too flattering.
Barroom talk on libeal night:The main trouble is that Palins negatives are about even with her positives.
No doubt Krauthammer has a prized position on the cocktail circuit and does not want to jeapardize it. Therefore, he spouts the mandatory anti-Palin opinion in ‘considered’ tones to appease his ubiquitous hosts.

It appears today’s “neocon” is simply a RINO (although perhaps a true fiscal conservative) - but a liberal hiding behind another term.
Yes?
But, I agree with you. Rather than run in ‘12, I believe she would better serve this country by keeping the conservative fires burning hot, & continuing to attack the Liberal/Marxist agenda.
Running for President will force her to temper her message to attract the most voters. Let some other candidate do that. Sarah P needs to maintain her freedom to say the things that need to be said & that both parties will be forced to address. We are gonna need that honest & loud voice still in the crowd even if a Pub is elected President in ‘12.
I'd like to see her expand her TV show to “Sarah Palin’s America”, do the same thing all over America. Perhaps the show could add a political wrinkle, with SP talking to some of the fishermen, loggers, hunters, etc. about the direction gov’t has taken. Done right, the show could be a great vehicle to promote real American values & opinions.
I believe this country is in for a bloody political battle in the next 10 years or so. The Republican party is likely to be in civil war over the ‘12 Presidential nomination, with conservatives vs. RINOs/Elites. Aside from that, the battle with Liberals will intensify, with the economy & deficit fanning the fire. There will be a lot of casualties in this political war. I don't want Sarah P to be one of them. I do want her to be a loud & unfettered voice for conservatism during this battle.
Right now, her personal strategy is working brilliantly. She is making good money, while staying in the spotlight. She has shamed the feminists, as well as RINOs. I believe she can do this indefinitely, much like Rush or Oprah. A few more years of this & I believe she will surpass both, while boosting conservatism enormously. But, if she loses a Pres. run in '12, especially to Obama, she is toast - history - coulda, woulda, shoulda.
muleskinner, you should be more truthful.
Charles Krauthammer did NOT support McCain/Palin
in Election 2008, as you claim.
Charles Krauthammer did NOT support the defeat of
ObamaCARE as you claim.
Since you post on FR that he did both, how about
some proof?
muleskinner, meadsjn is correct.
krauthammer and you should be more truthful. you are not.
Stay outta da Bushes.
I don't go to barrooms.
I do talk to different people every day about Sarah Palin, and have done so since several months before her selection as the VP nominee. Most of these people are in a state that is wrongly labeled "safe" for Romney. Much more than half have very positive opinions of Palin, even though they are told they should support Romney because of their common religion.
Agreed, but we have to be on the same page with the definition.
To say that Palin is stupid, or childish, that would be "trashing" and I've never said such things.
To say that there is too much of the populist in her presentation, or that she is unlikely to attract many voters outside of movement conservatives (who are far from a majority) is not "trashing" by my standard.
OTOH - the Freepers whose evaluation of the 2012 candidates comes down to nothing more than "I WUV SARAH!!" - yeah, I have to admit I have trashed them on occasion.
