“The first thing I’d do is get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations.”

This part puts it straight in the crazy bin.

That part is the toughest part... but you go on welfare you should NOT be allowed to have more children that you can’t afford.

You MUST name the father(s) of all your existing brood who will pay child support and sweep street or dig ditches for jobs if they have to.

I think he meant that women on public assistance have no business having babies. Want kids? You and baby daddy get married and one of you get a job.

Why should we support welfare brood mares for generation after generation?

He doesn’t say FORCE women to use birth control. LBJs “welfare” system encourages MULTIGENERATIONAL dependency on the government’s dole, and encourages out of wedlock birth for MONEY. The more kids you make, the more “free” $$$$—this was never supposed to be the intention of ‘welfare’, it was supposed to help in the SHORT term, not 30-40 years later!! >:-(

Welfare reform is way overdue in America. There’s no reason why a grandmother, mother and pregnant teenage girl should all be buying junk food and cigarettes at Walmart with taxpayer funds, IMO.

I do believe he is referring to women from a certain socioeconomic group who seem to have a very hard time keeping their knees together... and the countless men they sleep with... apparently.

"The first thing I’d do is get women Norplant birth control implants or tubal ligations."

Great, more sexual imbecility. This guy must have been asleep the wheel for the past 50 years.

Civilization rests on the linkage of sex, marriage, childbearing, commitment, productive work, long-term planning and stable family formation. This linkage is the foundation of society. This Norplant/tubal crap lays TNT charges at the basement level.

If it were a choice between one thing and another, it would be better to prosecute fornication than to subsidize sterile copulation.
