*snip*
Can you just imagine that driving a couple hundred miles, and the timing to come down and be at his trial just two people in motion in the universe, and we just crossed paths in that building at that instant in time.
Anyway, he said, Commander Kerchner, and I said, after looking at who was calling me, Terry! It was quite a surprise to meet him that way. We were chit-chatting for a few seconds there, and he said, Im pleased to meet you, and I said, Im honored to meet you. Im here to support you.
As we were talking there, he said, Why dont we go out to my car because the fellow over here might be on the panel. He kind-of detected that. He went out to the car and he put on the heat, and we were talking, and he was upbeat then. He wasnt defeated.
And then at some point, he said, Why dont you fellows come out to my house tonight? and I said, Are you sure? This is the night before the trial. Dont you prefer to be with your family or consulting with your counsel? and he said, No, I dont have any scheduled meetings and my family would enjoy meeting you. Id be happy to have you out. Its such a great honor to finally meet you, and I was saying the same thing to him.
I told him, Youre the one who should be honored. Youre risking everything.
So we agreed, and he gave us the address and phone number in case we got lost on the way and we could call him.

...Ping!
If it isn't I'd like to send him something small as my thanks for what he did. If enough others here do the same thing, I don't think he would have to worry about that government pension.
Does anyone have an address?

The White House is hiring more lawyers to handle oversight investigations from the new Congress, even as the president sets up a re-election headquarters in Chicago and considers ways to streamline operations inside the West Wing."

Operation Free Dr. Lakin
For those of you who inquired about clemency, please contact MAJOR GENERAL HORST, who was the convening authority for court-martial.
MG Horst has the power to suspend or shorten LTC Lakin’s sentence.
His email address is: karl.horst@us.army.mil
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it His fax number is 202-685-2801. You should call the PAO (Public Affairs Officer), Col. Robert Manning. The phone number to call is 202-685-4899.
You might remind MG Horst that LTC Lakin was denied the right to evidence to defend himself- i.e. denied discovery and denied the testimony of expert witnesses.
Feel free to repeat to him that officers swear an oath to the Constitution- are trained on the unified chain of command and know that they are supposed to question orders that may be illegal.
The Army failed LTC Lakin repeatedly when it avoided answering his simple question- is the Commander-in-Chief legally, Constitutionally eligible to command the U.S. Armed Forces? His Congressional delegation failed him too when it could not answer this question.
LTC Lakin enjoyed support from high ranking, retired military officers, Major General Paul Vallely, and Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney and eligibility plaintiffs, CDR Charles Kerchner and Captain Pam Barnett (who both attended his court-martial).
LT GEN McInerney had wanted to testify as an expert witness for LTC Lakin but was disallowed by the Judge, COL Lind. Former Presidential candidate, Ambassador Alan Keyes also supported LTC Lakin and was not permitted to testify.

Lankin was railroaded. I have seen attorneys leave their star witness to fend for themselves. When that happens; you can bet it’s fixed. Lankin did not get a fair trial.

Got it. Thanks.
We are spending lots of time worrying about a bunch of gasbags in DC. The Republicans over ran the Democrats in State Legislator races. Let us go at it at the local level as well, better access. Implore your state legislators that proof of NBC needs to be provided before said candidate can appear on a ballot in each state. Hey even if we got 25 states to go along, you can’t run for Pres. in only 25 states!
BTTT in support of Lt.Col. Lakin, and may justice be served.
