Like Obama could?

What a laugh.

Palin may not be a mental giant but she certainly is on the same levle playing field as Obama prior to the prez election.

Personally I hope Palin does not run for prez because I think she is much more effective as a cheerleader for conservative candidates all around the country.

I would also hope Gingrich does not run because he carries to much personal baggage as does Guiliani.

Romney has a problem because of the Massachusetts health care.

Barbour was a lobbyist and let’s face facts lobbyist is a very dirty word today among any presidential candidate.

But that still leaves a qide range of potential good conservative candidates such as Ryan, Rubio, Thune, Pawlenty, Huckabee, Daniels, Demint and Christie.

“Palin may not be a mental giant”

We don’t need a “mental giant.”

We need a common sense giant, a moral giant, a conservative giant. A giant of wisdom, like Sarah Palin.

I volunteer at a local hospital. One of my co-volunteers knows that I was involved in the tea party here. He asked me if I thought that Sarah would make a good president. I said that she sure couldn’t do any worse than Hussein. He was taken aback. He said that she couldn’t be president because “she isn’t a lawyer.” The guy is 80 y.o. and I think was successful in his career, but he lost major cred with me when he made that comment.

Perhaps YOU should tell the starting quarterback to get off the playing field and be a cheerleader?

Ryan and Rubio are too young and inexperienced.

DeMint is a dream who couldn’t get elected.

The rest of the ‘good’ options you list are mush on immigration (okay, maybe T-Paw isn’t mush on immigration specifically, but he’s mush generally, to the same effect)—so they would all be presiding over the last Republican/conservative era.

And I haven’t seen anything that suggests she’s not with any of them intellectually. Have you noticed where she started? What she accomplished at the various levels in AK? How she has set the agenda since taking on the national scene? Stupid she’s not.
