He's home for Christmas

Last night, after struggling for four years to clear his name, John White was released from prison and reunited with his family -- just in time for Christmas.

Support the NAACP In 2006, a group of teenagers came to John's Long Island home shouting words of violence, yelling racial slurs, and threatening to kill his son. John did what any father would do -- he defended his home and his family.

In the ensuing struggle, one of the teenagers lunged at John's handgun and was tragically killed. John was sentenced to prison. . . . . . .

As I recall, “John’s handgun” was illegal. No license. So he got banged for that and manslaughter. Sentence? Two years. He stayed out pending appeals, and hadn’t done all that much time before Gov. Wonder commuted his sentence. The victim won’t be making it home for Christmas.

That’s where you’re wrong, the victim is home for Christmas. Shouldn’t have to license your gun anyway.

Utter nonsense about the ‘victim’ not making it home for Christmas. Just what do you think that poor, innocent, ‘victim’ was going to do if he’d managed to get hold of John’s gun? He’d already stated his intent to kill and even in California once you make that kind of threat you’ve written your death certificate.
