Well my teenage boys and girls will NOT be going in to the service, for the first time in 3 generations.
My Son who is now enlisted, will NOT reup.
I don’t blame them. Starting today, the military is no place for a decent person. It’s nothing short of a tragedy, seeing the last institution still worthy of esteem become transformed into something so disgraceful.

In the navy 45 years ago we had queers. They were weeded out by the heterosexuals, not by the brass. Nothing has changed...
There are alot of other reasons not to reup than the repeal of DADT. My son just got back from Afghan with an infantry unit. The guys know who the queers are and they know how to deal with them. I suspect those in your son’s unit know who they are and how to deal with them too. If anyone tries to hit on anybody they will be dealt with severely.
This is the real impact. God-fearing folk will dissuade their kids from joining. Readiness will suffer.
