We are now stuck with sexual deviants serving openly in the U.S. military because of turncoat Republican senators ... Had the cloture vote failed, we would still have sane moral and sexual standards governing military personnel policy. But sadly those days are gone, perhaps forever.
...
The armies of other nations have allowed gays to serve openly in the military. The reason they could afford to do this is simple: they could allow homosexuals to serve in their military because we didnt allow them to serve in ours.
They knew they could count on the strength, might, power, and cohesion of the U.S. military to intervene whenever and wherever necessary to pull their fannies out of the fire and squash the forces of tyranny wherever they raised their ugly heads around the world.
Those days are now gone. We will no longer be able to bail out these other emasculated armies because ours will now be feminized and neutered beyond repair, and there is no one left to bail us out. We have been permanently weakened as a military and as a nation by these misguided and treasonous Republican senators, and the world is now a more dangerous place for us all.

Why are you telling me how enlistment works? You obviously have not read my posts. We are a military family. Third generation.
And honey, it is flying now! Flipping, flying all around, with pink feathers! No one will be able to “bully” the poor little gay boys! Oh no...check out what happens in the rest of society.
That is what the problem is. Now they have to have “sensativity training”. They will immediately have to have gay pride days on bases, and parades.
You may not see these happening,
Also, with this repeal, many, many more gays are going to join...man, where else can you be around so many buff guys?! Get real! You are dreaming. Straight teenage boys do not stand a chance against the whole government and court system. Gays have the power now, and they will use it.
That one gay guy stood right up in congress and declared that this is what they were going to do...and they have.
The Marine Corps is not like a job where you think that Larry is light in the loafers but you’re not really sure. My son says that they know which Marines are gay and which are not. In deployment, it will mean that the homos will be left behind at the FOB to do menial duty making more straight Marines available for patrol. And if they do anything unwelcome, they will be shipped back.
Read William Shirer's seminal work "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" - at least in the chapters involving the SA (commonly known as "brownshirts") who were indispensable for getting Hitler into power. Be forewarned though: Shirer wrote most of it in the 1950s, and frequently uses the word "perversion," a commonly understood word back then, but one which can grate on tender ears born after the 50's that have only heard euphemisms like "alternate lifestyle".
You can also google "Ernst Rohm", the SA leader and #2 or #3 Nazi, until Hitler executed him and the rest of the SA leadership (a preponderance of whom were homosexuals) in a Machiavellian bargain with the German Army leadership, soon after the SA had vaulted him into power and he no longer needed them, but at the time desperately needed the loyalty of the Army.
Of course, anything from Wiki or other mainstream or liberal web sources is going to have the SA's sexual proclivities heavily played down. Better to buy a book on the subject - eg The Pink Swastika
I believe they could and I also believe they have the strength to over ride Obama's veto of their effort.
Courage is another thing altogether.
I don’t know where you live but I have two sons, one active now and one on delayed entry and enlistment is NOT what it used to be. They have so many enlistee’s that they can pick and choose. No more GED’s for the Army, the Marines, good luck, at least a 10 mo. wait after enlistment to get to Boot Camp. See how hard it is to get an Airborne/Ranger Contract. 300+ PT scores are not uncommon either. I was very surprised to find how many they let just walk out of Basic, but they have so many “A” recruits they don’t need them and they don’t want to waste their time.
The recruiting process for my son’s was way different than that of my brothers.
I pray that they have it! Because nothing great gets done without courage!
I have the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and never saw an allusion to homosexuality. However, that could be because my mind wasn’t aware of the depravity, at the time I read it. I will recheck.
Homosexuals a.k.a. as the depraved, started using WWII as a backdrop in the 80’s as a means to establish that they were ‘persecuted’ in the same way as the Jewish people, which is ludicrous. By injecting this premise, people would jump to the conclusion that it is indeed, a ‘civil rights’ issue. In other words the homosexuals try to equalize the treatment of the jews to their position which is completely contrary to logic or reasoning imo. If this ‘group’ was truly targeted like the jews and other groups, it would have been duly noted in written history. I’m not buying that they were targeted like other groups.
I wish it were BS. bmail me and I’ll give you his name.
Heard the new version of the Christmas Classic?
“I saw Daddy kissing Santa under the Christmas Tree”.
Meanwhile, as a MA resident, whaddya think the odds are of Deval raising taxes again due to our dire circumstances.
Just a rhetorical riposte.
Acceptance and compliance are not always the same thing. Keeping one’s mouth shut as this travesty is played out does not prevent a serviceman from voting, pressuring his representative and engaging in the lawful democratic process.
For my part, I will abide the nonsense while executing my duties, but that does not mean I accept the homosexual lifestyle. Even the handful of homosexual friends I have are aware that I do not approve, and no libtastic idiocy from Washington can change my mind on that.
The only difference now is they dont have to hide the fact theyre gay there is no longer any restraint on their behavior.
