I am so sick of McCain. Yes he is right here, but he is acting so opposite of the way he acted campaigning. It is strange how he is trying to be a tea party Senator right now. It is good but everyday I am waiting for the shoe to drop and he get back to his Maverick ways. You know that he can’t last long with this phony conservative actions. He will combust eventually.
Probably the understatement of the year. “Great damage” is only when that pass it in the congress. It’s all down hill from there.

Heard the CNO interviewed yesterday, Adm. Roughead. He said the troop surveys just confirm what he already knew, that DADT isn’t necessary and that the effectiveness of the military will not be affected by this.
McCain and others can give all the speeches they want, but it was the support of Gates and the military top brass that made this possible. Those who will be far removed from it’s real-world consequences, and who could give a damn less about whatever precedent they may be setting.
Admiral Indarearhead knows the surveys were phony.

The fact is homos can join the Military now. DADT stops no one from joining. All they have to do is not try to shove their sexuality down the throat(no allegation intended)of the other troops.
Gosh, when we need it in the future, after we have destroyed our military effectiveness completely, perhaps we could request the help of the U.N.'s diverse forces to help us defend ourselves.
Isn't this the bottom line directive of these liberal hacks anyway?

There was a time in the early church that Christians would not serve in the Roman army because of its paganism and homosexuality. As someone that comes from a long line of military officers, I never thought that I would discourage people from joining the military. I do not see how a Christian can in good conscience serve in a military that does not see homosexuality as immoral. Gays will be openly recruiting young men and women to experience a homosexual life style. I would never want my sons and daughters to be subjected to such sinful behavior.

This a sad day for those of us who have served on the battlefield.
This will degrade the overall morale and set up a degraded sense of honor and duty. It will become an alternative for many as a good substitute for College and be paid for it; Nothing more.
If the Military is called to battle, most of them will simply opt out and refuse to fight, since their primary reason is for career training and also a good place to meet up with their kind. This will prove to be a very bad policy and will ruin the greatest fighting force on Earth.
