algore was wrong.
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
last time this happened there was a 400 year long mini ice age.
Merry Christmas to All.
Earth had a pneumonia 15,000 years ago when Ice age was at its peak. Climate changes have been going on for Billions of years. I can’t believe how people think man is so almighty he can actually cause climate change. Heck just 200 miles up from the space station nothing man made is even visible except a barely visible great wall of china.
(These guys are the funniest double act on British television today).
And Algore is a rectal thermometer
This past summer wasnt as hot as usual and weve already had 3 snows. This isnt December weather in Hampton Roads its February weather at its worst. Most winters in the last quarter century were snow free.
If the UN had its way ...
bttt
So.....BP busted the loop. Rejoice Britain, reparations are on the way.....
But....it doesn’t explain last years cold.
There’s more to the cold than BP.
Well whatever is wrong with the earth (be it warming or cooling) it was caused by people consuming too much non renewable energy and the government must put an end to it. If the Ice Age cometh, then people caused it.
That was funny, but they seem to support the notion of warming.
“The planet has a cold. When your baby has a cold, you take it to the doctor.”
...and so do I.
Merry Christmas to you too!
That sketch follows a format as old as the hills: take an orthodox political opinion, exaggerate it, and spin it into a spoof public service broadcast where common sense and normal values are presented, followed by a big "NO, this is what you should think", followed by a piece of advice that is unfeasibly stupid. The sketch serves to demonstrate that the orthodox opinions turn common sense on its head.
I could give you pages upon pages of examples of sketches that follow a similar formula but the most obvious example is Harry Enfield's Women! Know your limits!" sketch mocking people who want to return to 1950s British values. If you watch that and end up thinking that Harry Enfield is endorsing the view of the infomercial, i.e. that women should shut up and get back in the kitchen, you're missing the joke completely.
Or maybe it's true what they say... we really are two people divided by a common language.
