Must it be explained again that global warming can also cause severe cold weather both on a local and continental scale? You have got to look at the big picture. Just because it has been cooler than normal from Canada to Maine to New Jersey, to the Midwest to Seattle, to California, to Cancun Mexico, not to mention Europe, England, Australia, Asia and South America... doesn't mean that top scientists at NASA and the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit haven't proved that 2010 is going to be the warmest year ever in the history of the universe. Local, continental short and long term trends and phenomena are meaningless. We have to rely on the experts.
