"We didn't win anything, we didn't prevent enforcement"

Plenty of time for that later.

We didn't need an injunction against enforcement at this time since the relevant provisions don't take effect for two years.

We won absolutely nothing yesterday, except vindication of our arguments to repeal the awful law, which everyone with two brains already realized.

Doesn't the word except above mean we won something?

Not sure of this either: Does everyone have two brains?? I thought we just have one brain.

The ruling is just the first step to getting this thing repealed. It’s like we tied up a football game by scoring a touchdown in the first quarter.

Well, he's correct, but it is a step in the right direction.

The old Chinese saying is very true, " A journey of 1,000 miles begins with the first step".

Don't get too excited, one way or the other, but don't get too discouraged.

We did OK. The conflicting rulings move the case
toward SCOTUS and the bill has no severability
clauses. If we win on the merits, the whole bill
fails.

If they enact this with no requirement that all be involved, can you imagine what will happen to premiums of the insured? This has to be all or nothing which makes 2011 repeal an imperative!
