Wow. These groups really are going off the deep end. Why are the Hispanic groups getting involved in a Spaniard couples desire to have a baby in America. They both have lived in America for years and DEFINITELY pay huge taxes to the U.S. so it is not like they are living off the government having a baby. This is the dumbest story of the day. Perhaps they are pissed that they are married.

At least it will be an ATTRACTIVE anchor baby, and one that won’t need welfare benefits until it is 18 years old.

The term anchor baby is equivalent to other defamatory terms such as wetback, pickaninny and tar baby. Oh, please! Get over it.

The term anchor baby is incorrectly used here. As Cruz is a US citizen, her baby would have US citizenship even if born outside the US. “Anchor baby” refers to the US born child of two illegals.

If it makes you feel any better, the Spanish newspapers are hating on them for this decision, as are the people who comment on the Spanish newspaper websites. They are being pilloried for their lack of patriotism and loyalty to Spain.
Example: "MUCHO patriotismo, pero el bebe que sea YANQUI !!! Viva la doble moral! no se puede ser más hipócrita...pues que lo tengan en usa y no vuelvan más!"

I guess the "attractive" part is in the eye of the beer holder, because I do not think Penelope is all that pretty - JMHO. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating crackers or anything, but I don't think she is that pretty.
But, that isn't the MAIN reason I wanted to post a reply. I wanted to correct your statement. You see, they don't just collect until their 18 years old, they simply learn how to game the system so that WHEN they turn 18, they can become their own welching entity without the support and help of their parents. Just wanted to make sure you knew - LOL.

It is the assertion that, if someone is offended by an argument or the language used to articulate it, the argument is inherently incorrect.Inaccurate. PC is only concerned with whether members of certain groups, the Designated Victim Groups (DVGs), are offended.
Offending members of Designated Oppressor Groups (DOGs) is a good thing.

!!! “welching entity”... So right. We have at least 20 million welching entities here already. I was being snarky. Please see my post about how Spain is taking this story. Oh, and I am glad to hear you wouldn’t kick her out of bed.

Oops, I was thinking of Salma Hayek. Cruz may not be a US citizen.

I’m curious about how many wealthy non-residents have babies here so they become automatic citizens. A year or two ago, Jinkee Pacquiao (Manny’s wife) came to the US from the Philippines while pregnant and then delivered the baby in LA. I don’t know of any other country that confers automatic citizenship by birth like we do.

I do not think Penelope is all that pretty I concur. Terrible actress, too. I've seen better acting skills displayed in high school drama class.

In either case, Penelope is NOT GUILTY.
