The stadium is twenty-eight years old, and can hold over 64,000 fans at any given NFL game.

But apparently, they cannot support 17 inches of snow. Sorry, but it seems that Minnesota has had snowstorms and blizzards before.... and I expect, more snow than that. SO is this Tarp fatigue?

Apparently all of its collapses happen from around a foot of show. It is just held up by air, and when you think of the size of it that is a lot of snow.

They had crews clearing the roof, but they pulled them off Saturday afternoon because it was too windy to work safely. Apparently the roof can accomodate about a foot of accumulation and, in this instance, not 17 inches.
