UFO Crashes In Austrian Alps

Recently a news story came across the blogosphere in regards to another crashed UFO incident. The latest claim of a crashed UFO has came from Austria. An alien spacecraft crashed in the Austrian Alps, E.T. believers have claimed.

Yep, for being technologically advanced enough to travel hundreds perhaps thousands of light years, they do have a problem with going down.

I pose the following question regarding the arrival of any alien life form on our planet.........
After mastering light speed travel, navigation, defeating black holes, asteroids, nutritional and any sort of hydrational issues, deceleration, atmosphere entry, solar radiation, and an endless list of celestial problems to deal with....
Exactly why is it after all that, that during the last 200' of travel, you need to turn on bright lights to see where you're going?
