This is what I feared most as a result of the illegitimate seating of Obama, that is that Article II would die as a qualification for the Presidency. I scream every time I hear the words "Birth Certificate."
We need one (1) governor to disqualify Obama from the ballot in his state in 2012 and get this to court. This is a Constitutional Crisis and it is completely below the radar, except where it doesn't count, like here.
There is no "precedent."
Cheer up. There are about 5 states that are passing legislation which will require all presidential candidates for 2012 to submit the long form birth certificate. Obama cannot win if he is not even on the ballot in 5 states.
Hawaii has a law on the books for certifying candidates for POTUS now.
Everybody — democrats, republicans, independents, greens, socialists and commies — just ignored it.
