Video: Glenn Beck comes out in defense of Julian Assange
Examiner ^ | December 8, 2010 | Marc Schenker

Glenn Beck comes out in defense of Julian Assange. On yesterday’s installment of the Glenn Beck show on FNC, Beck came out in defense of Wikileaks chief Assange, but conditionally. He explored the alleged rape charges against Assange in detail (really "sex by surprise" charges), and he reached the conclusion that they are fishy at best and even may be a conspiracy against Assange. While Beck defended Assange based on the likelihood that the rape allegations against him are totally bogus—he even provided a specific timeline breakdown of the alleged Assange rapes—he still asserted that Assange is a menace. Beck also predicted that Assange’s leaking activities would get the ball rolling towards "bringing down the system," a leftist tactic he’s been continually warning people of for years.

I find it interesting - timing-wise - that there seemed to be very little political pressure to find this guy until..... it came out that Hillary had been asking weird questions about other politicians.

Maybe it's just me but that seemed to up the ante quite a lot.

Beck is dumb as a fox. He's not defending Assange the person, but how this situation is taking the limelight. It's an absurd charge and he's the only one to see the irrational logic.

It’s not only you....it’s OK for these Marxist bastards to screw over the US Military but as soon as the weapon they used is turned against them....well you see the results.

Except that THAT DoJ (Holder’s) is better than a briar patch.

Have they been aggressive about anything?

I find it very odd that all the attention is on Assange and WikiLeaks while there’s been very little coverage on Bradley Manning, the actual thief who stole the secrets. Even Beck barely mentions him or the security breach. I believe that’s the real story.

No one has said a word about prosecuting this guy. He is the thief. Assange just published it. And i am not defending him, but I find it odd that the left was all in favor of the Pentagon paers being published and screamed about FOP, but not so much now.

This really is the definition of sweet red-on-red action. Leftist Femistists vs. IT anarchist leftists. Sweetness.

And no, the accusers are not CIA agents, unless the CIA has been doing some seriously long-term planning to “get” Assange by recruiting agents in the key Swedish low-level left-wing operative demographic.

A more resonable explantion: Assange got a lot of pull with left-wing feminist chicks through his newly won fame and attacks on the US.

Of course, bedding left-wing Swedish feminists is a hazardous occupation (at least if you are a man)...

I was thinking the same thing. Especially when you see what she and bill did to people that were against them during the clinton administration and before.

Yep I heard one of the lawyers that O’Rielly had on last night, can’t remember her name, the blonde. She said at best the rape charges are very weak.

Yes..I saw Beck yesterday. I thought he did a brilliant assessment of those ridiculous rape charges when this dangerous man should be charged with espionage. “Surprise sex without a condom,” was the charge??? The insanity goes on.

Makes one wonder who they are trying to protect, doesn’t it.

After all the dust settles we’ll find that Cass Sunstein & George Soros are lurking in the background and that Assange is merely a pawn in this plot.

“I thought he did a brilliant assessment of those ridiculous rape charges when this dangerous man should be charged with espionage.”

I had the same thoughts. I don't recall Beck defending his espionage, but Beck is a big time Libertarian, so he felt obligated to come to his defense on the bogus rape charges.

It does appear to be a coordinated effort to yank him from the stage and quick. Now I'm not a Libertarian. I would have preferred they used the old horse head in the bed routine, or maybe send him some dead fish.

Glenn Beck comes out in defense of Julian Assange

Beck has overtaken Jerry Brown as "Moonbeam" of the century.

INTERPOL issues warrants for not wearing a jimmie hat?

We should be ridiculing Euro-Leftists for their weird sex laws.

Beck saw fit to waste time with an Assange conspiracy, but ignored the Dream Act.

Worthless or a leftist plant.
