You were right the first time. Reagan was viewed by the Republican elite and the MSM at the time as unelectable, intellectually challenged and, yes, dangerous and a buffoon. Sound familiar?

Then why bother to show the map? You were clearly trying to indicate the scope of the governor's job in Alaska as being relative to the land mass, which is jusy plain silly.

And what does Romney have to do with it?

Oh please, can’t we just give it a rest for now?

You may as well shut down your computer and just read books, if you can't handle any more talk of Palin 2012. It's going to be like this for the next two years, my friend.

Even easier - simply stop clicking on Palin threads.

Not so silly. A state with a large area, resources, etc. simply has a different scope than a state with a small area and large population.

Instead of dealing with agendas of welfare handouts to masses of people in cities, you deal with welfare handouts to corporations trying to exploit state resources.

I well remember those days. Reagan was criticised by liberals, NOT traditional conservatives, not by the likes of Krauthammer, Christie, (on Jimmy Kimmel), and others (viewed for several years as conservatives). And if FReepers think that the general election will be won by voters divided at the Karl Rove line of the political spectrum, the beating we will take be worse than Mondale's.

" Rah! Rah! Rah! We can do it! We can do it! Rah! Rah! Rah!" Yeah, I'm not buying it.

But, you'll probably win the nomination. Great. We'll have another four years of Obama.

I was around for Reagan, she is Reagan IN High Heels! But better looking, Reagan was not in prime.

Also she Quicker in getting her words out, then any politician in the last 50 years, this is a sign she says what she believes!

Finally, someone who tells the Truth,

She a woman, some seems to think a women can’t run this country, that’s another reason why she needs to be the first women President!

She would do a lot to hurt men having sex with men lifestyle,

Normal would be back in again!

That’s probably the biggest reason that the anti Palin freepers keeping spurring out all the same negatives Reagan lived with, yes, our token liberal democrat Trolls and with their sick lifestyle)

I wonder if “pissant” is a LOG CABIN REPUBLICAN?

MSM loved McCain because the base hated him, just the opposite with Palin,

They hate Palin, but the base loves her!

And the only way I see her winning if it’s Gods will...

I started reading Sarah Book last night and stayed up all night and read it all!

This is GODLY WOMAN, Whatever she does it will be GOD'S will!

After reading the book, GOD would be giving the best ever if he would so bless America, but the way American have turned their backs on GOD, WE will probably get a RINO!

Palingenesis: from the Concise English Dictionary: “a new birth; reincarnation, a second creation, regeneration, unmodified inheritance of ancestral character, the new formation of a rock by re-fusion.”

Did you know that Senator Goldwater Didn’t Even support Reagan?

If Palin is not the nominee the GOP will never get the money or help that they could have!
Also some will be so disappointed that they will stay home! This is a fact!
When was the last the Republicans didn’t vote someone with her base as the nominee! never happened. REASON - SHE IS A WOMAN!

“Sarah will go the same route. She has an immense conservative following right now and an ability to handle the media like no other republican candidate, and when she wins the nomination she will make bambi out to be the idiot he is even more so than when Reagan made Carter out to be the idiot he is.”

Let me state first that I will enthusiastically vote for Palin in both the primaries and the general election.

Having said that, you are being a bit overoptimistic.

I see 2012 as going one of two directions:
It is either going to be 1980 all over again, or,
It’s going to be 1964 all over again.

Too early yet to say which one....

Agreed. But remember: A lot can happen in 2 years; heck, in two hours! (Most of what media try to pass off as “news” are only laughable predictions for the future by people who have never predicted anything correctly—not even once.) What usually happens is something else, unforeseen and not predictable.

Without Palin I would be bored to tears with politics or I would have just walked away after Obama won. The others in the GOP field are mostly just RINO’s who bore us all and are in collusion with Obama at the end of the day. Palin is a potential revolution, wake up!
