My favorite Davey Crockett story repeats two sentences tied for the most fateful spoken in the English language. When he lost his bid for reelection to the US House of Representatives he said to his constituents, “You people can all go to hell. I’m going to Texas.”

Texans have a great connection with Tennessee, and thank God for their men that came to die as Texans.
