Don't let anyone claim that liberal talk radio show hosts don't wish for bad things to happen. On Monday's show, Randi Rhodes was giddy about the prospect of global warming causing the oceans to rise enough to engulf Rush Limbaugh's Florida home:
And so, the global warming deniers -- like Rush Limbaugh, whose house I can't wait until the ocean swells and eats his house -- and he will be the first to go because he's got the best location! He's on Palm Beach, which is nothing but a little island...a long, skinny, little sliver of billion dollars worth of -- crap! Mostly over-the-top, overdecorated, overpainted, overdone houses with silk draperies and Renaissance designs in a tropical setting...On the edge of this little silvered island with a rising, rising ocean -- he's going first, I live out west, my house is going to be the new Palm Beach and I can't wait. I can't freaking wait!
Liberal radio host Bill Press was also giddy, but about the conviction of former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay in a Texas county court: "I enjoyed this so much for a couple of reasons. First of all, it's just because he is such an evil guy. What goes around comes around."
looks like a makeover is long overdue for someone her age. Maybe it would help soften her wicked personality and potty mouth. NOT!
With all the real problems we have in this country, the Left is still fantasizing over this crap?
Sounds like little Randi ain’t gettin’ any. Most libs apparently aren’t either. Class-envy and lack of credibility has taken its’ toll.
The communists liberals cannot face the truth that they have destroyed America and now are about to be rewarded for their efforts. They will crash with us. Some joke, right. How more stupid can these fools go.
In other words, it would be just his checkbook.
. . . but, didn’t the Obamassiah make the oceans immediately fall when he was “sworn in”?
I do recall reading that she was good friends with the wife of the DA that ended up going after Rush.
But... Why would you want to listen to her? Isn't there a concrete block wall nearby you could pound your head against until blood runs down your face?
How did she manage to do that?!

Back in 1999, Randi Rhodes allegedly urinated on a Christmas tree at a party thrown by co-horts from WJNO, her station at the time.
Randi admits that she’d had a few martinis, but she maintains that she was just play-acting.
However, the party’s hostess claims otherwise:
“I’m just happy the tree was on tile and not carpet”
“She is just low-class,” says Linda Marx, widow of the late WJNO talk-show host Jack Cole.
Marx recalls an incident at a Christmas bash the couple threw in 1999, when an inebriated Rhodes squatted over the Christmas tree as a party antic. Rhodes admits she had a few martinis, but insists she didn’t urinate.
“I pretended,” she says.
Marx indicates otherwise. “I’m just happy the tree was on tile and not carpet,” she says...
“She’s very self-destructive,” says Bill Newgent, Rhodes’ first producer at WJNO, who adds that, after a few months of working with her, “I went to management and said, ‘She’s nuts. I can’t do this.’ “
This guy [Judge Alito] just creeps me out. He’s quiet. He’s not a guy who shoots up stores, he dies in a blaze of glory. No. That’s not who he is. He’s like one of those guys who goes along for years really quietly ... murdering hookers.
You know what I mean? That’s more him. He’s the kind of guy that you live next door to for 30 years, and then all of a sudden a bulldozer shows up, and there’s 31 kids buried underneath. You know what I mean? That’s his temperament.
He’s not a junkyard dog. He’s not a barker. He’s not like a [UN ambassador John] Bolton; y’know, obviously a big bully. No. He’s more like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He looks really ‘milk toasty’; you want to pet him, and actually, I want to make boots out of him. Y’know. But, uh. No. He’s a hunter.
And he’s hunting for ways to - y’know - (changing tone) ‘Balance of power? Oh. That’s so ‘80’s. 1780’s!’ You know what I mean? This is who he is.

Last September, Randi was cited by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for outrageous remarks in which she compared the evacuation of victims of hurricane Katrina to the deportation of Jews during the Holocaust. Although the letter to Randi from the ADL said, “We look forward to your response,” there has been no published report of any apology from Rhodes that this writer could find.
