It's no secret that Nicolle Wallace is no fan of Sarah Palin. But the former Bush communications director and McCain campaign aide perhaps took things to another level with her attack on Palin on today's Morning Joe. [snip]

Wallace unleashed a hail of criticism of her own:

If we can have a wholly unvetted, incompetent, nationally reviled and manifestly insignificant ‘minority’ male as President why not a properly vetted, competent and experienced female who also possesses enough political appeal, intelligence, proven resourcefulness and flexibility to choke the whole stable?

While all this sub rosa stuff keeps our attention, our eye should be firmly upon the issues of the day: Tax Changes, Meetings in the Whitehouse with GOP leaders, Korea, EURO collapsing, massive leaks of secrets, run away deficit, senate attempts to push dream acts and a pro fag agenda. All of this on the watch of the guy who is least qualified to be in the oval office. If the press had done as minute job of examining the Zero as it has in examining the running mate of the opposition WHO LOST, the joker would not even be in the deck.

We had an acquaintance who was once interviewed by 20/20. It was aircraft related, so long ago that I don’t remember the specifics. When the interview appeared our friend looked to be an idiot, which he most definitely was not. He told us to never participate in an interview with an organization like 20/20...that the cut and paste of his interview was what made him look so inept. That’s what they do, they edit to get the desired result. I’ve never looked at interviews the same way.

I agree with your major point. But I don't think Palin will be able to Twitter and Facebook her way into the White House. Interviews with Hannity and O'Reily are the only rough waters she will venture out in right now.

She will have to learn to do interviews with hostile hosts if she wants to win. And I would be interested to see how well she could do.
