The Long And Short Of The Latest WikiLeaks Dump…
The Hayride ^ | 29 November 2010 | MacAoidh

Something else which has come out of the WikiLeaks dump is that when President Obama met with King Abdullah last year, he scored himself a tirade for having spent all his time bloviating about the importance of the Arab/Israeli conflict when what Abdullah really cared about was Iran and their nukes.

That, again, isn’t exactly news. It does, however, indicate that the people in charge of our foreign policy are informed by left-wing pontification rather than reality.

You mean the Saudis are backstabbing liars, play a double game and want others to do their dirty work for them? Quel surprise! Certainly it’s understandable that they’re stroking out left and right over this at the State Department, as the one thing not documented in this latest dump is the extent to which American ex-diplomats and government officials rake in Saudi bribes – and if the extent of the perfidy and manipulation the Arab states have been practicing were fully understood by the American people that gravy train would have to close up shop sharpish.

We now know that Saudis are supporting the Al Quaeda ,not only when their citizens hijacked the planes and killed 3000 Americans on 911 but also in Iraq to kill our soldiers. They are supporting them EVEN NOW!! with millions of our dollars for their oil either directly as a government or allowing the money by tacit approval. We should invade the real reason for 911!!

So there’s a first step.

Why does the USA MSM appear so blatantly unconcerned about embarrassing the USA, yet they will make a huge effort to cover up any embarrassing revelations about their “friends”.

Patriots defend the USA. There is nothing that “patriotism” and the current MSM have in common and for that reason I despise what they’ve consistently done to the USA.

If the truth was known there is stuff in this dump that is being covered-up but it is not the stuff that is derogatory to the USA.

If he really is going after a big US bank, things could get interesting just from the private sector.

Were they supporting Al Qaeda when George W. Bush was holding hands and making kissy-face with the S.A. King?

Clinton is banging pots and pans as loudly as possible to distract attention from her dastardly deeds. Of course, she’s an old hand at digging dirt for purposes of blackmail.

Point of humor taken but this is an ideal case study in Obama’s worldview which is the product of his communist upbringing and his immersion in left-wing American media.

The Saudis, of course, expected the new president to be versed in in the realpolitik of the Middle East just as all previous presidents had regardless of their tiresome public declarations about the peace process etc.

But Obama was quite different (and naive) - he arrived in office actually believing all the horrible stories about mean old Israel and the good-guy Palestinians.

That is absolutely the case. The Bush administration knew of the Saudi connection and secreted Bin Laden’s relatives out of our country!!! Absolute fact!! You see innocent Americans groped and harassed at airports today and these Saudis were quietly ushered to safety and Saudi Arabia wasn’t bombed to oblivion? YOU CAN”T MAKE THIS UP!@!

WikiLeaks dump? Isn’t that an oxymoron? Hmmm, I’ll think about it while I go take WikiLeaks.

Go back to DU. You have one event that happened under Bush and then a second now happening under Obama. So what is your point? I'm sure you hated the idea of bombing Iraq but it's ok to bomb Saudi Arabia?
