>> I hope Haley Barbour runs. He’s got the right stuff. <<

I’m with you all the way. Gov. Barbour may have the savviest political mind in the USA. He already knows every trick in the book, not only all the dirty tricks the MSM and the Dhimmis would use against him, but also the “honorable tricks” the GOP should employ.

And just like Gov. Christie of NJ, he’ll be able to make a virtue out of his “fat-man” image. The mud flung his way by the MSM will slide off his portly frame like water off the back of a duck!

But not only that:

Barbour may be the best hope for uniting all wings of the GOP — thereby avoiding the bitter internecine recriminations that inevitably would follow the near-certain defeat in Nov. 2012 of a Palin or a Romney.

(By the way, I think Huckabee also would be able to unite the various GOP factions and probably would be able to win an election against the Annointed Øne in 2012. He’d definitely have my vote in the General Election. But based on his record in Arkansas, I imagine Huck would be a mediocre-to-terrible POTUS — whereas Barbour’s record as Governor of Mississippi is absolutely sterling, one that indicates he’d be an excellent POTUS.)

I love Barbour, Pence and Jindal! I love Palin also but the media have an obsession with her.

Haley Reeves Barbour is one of my favorite conservative political personalities of all time. I love dat man!

However, have you seen a full-length photo of him? He's as wide and round as he is tall. He looks like one of the familiar guys pictured in post # 50. The man could not stand the rigors of the hectic, fast-paced, almost two-year long campaigns of today. He would keel over stone cold in a Mississippi minute.

Besides, his mouth is so full of grits that it type-casts him as a provincial southerner....wrongly, of course, as he's a brilliant man.........but this is how the 'coon sits in the tree.

On another subject, it's time for all Palin supporters who are able to do so to make a decision to run for delegate to the 2012 national GOP convention. We have to stack the place. The RINO establishment elites are going to do the same and are already working on it.

Unfortunately, they get to name many courtesy delegates in every state who don't have to be elected.....and their selections are NOT going to be mainly Tea Party types, adherents or admirers, namely folks like us.

Start saving your money....it costs a lot of dough to be a national convention delegate. You foot the bill yourself if you're elected. Sometimes fellow conservatives pitch in to help out.
