The military will be forced to do their duty to protect the Constitution and toss this bum. He will not finish his term.

I don’t think that old proverb means what they think it means.

Obama is a hard turd that will eventually pass but inflict much pain on the way out.

Mad in the case of the Greek maxim means incapable of reason. Fits BO to a “T”.

Good article.

Obama’s only way of governing is to enrage various groups of people...Obama pits one group against the other.

That is EXACTLY what he does. I don't remember a President as divisive.

He's an affirmative action empty suit who exhibits little awareness of what America is all about.

....Lest you think the above is exaggerated, Dick Morris has just informed us that Obama plans on ruling the country dictator style....

The same Dick Morris that %100 guaranteed we were going to win the house AND the Senate? The same Morris that assured us that harry Reid was toast?

Morris fancy's himself as a major political prognosticator, problem is, he's almost never right in his predictions.

Dick should just give it up already and maybe go into some other line of work.

No, “mad” does not mean “angry” in this quotation. It means “insane”.
My father was a classics scholar, I know this one well.

Exactly what I was thinking — or else, they tried to force the quote into fitting the theme of the article. In which case, I wonder why they bothered using it at all.

No,FRiend...That would set a precedent that would destroy our Republic. We can survive this Bastard. We can overcome and overthrow everything he has and is doing. If violence is called for let it be civilians defending their rights and property. Not the uniformed military.

You can be angry-smart. You just probably do not want to be angry-stupid. Don't let that anger boil over. Do not let it control you. Focus that anger into righteous actions. History is loaded with examples of how anger was used to entrap people. The Mongols were famous for using the tactic. Would pepper an enemy with arrows, then the heavy armored knights would chase the Mongol Horse archers right into a trap. The invincible Mongols finally had that tactic used against them by the Egyptian Muslims. But that was also the first large scale use of gunpowder hand held cannon/guns. Mongols also liked to lay waste to an entire city to instill fear and cooperation when provoking anger was counterproductive. My 2 cents.

It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure Euripides meant “mad” to mean insane and not angry.

Nevertheless, I like the allusion to the classics:

“The girls today in society
Go for classical poetry
So to win their hearts you must quote with ease
Aeschylus and Euripides.”

And using the Executive Departments to issue regulations. Just like the one from Health and Human Services issued yesterday under the caveat of ObamarxCare: All insurance companies are now required to spend 85% of their revenues on patient care and CANNOT spend more than 15% on administrative overhead, salaries, and profit margin. That will drive the insurance companies out of business. That type of government intervention is pure facsism. And the Washinton ComPost buried this on page 3 of yesterday’s paper.

Freepers (I don’t remember their monikers) warned that this was a Jim Jones character. Now you are seeing what they mean.
