It’s been a while but I’m pretty sure Euripides meant “mad” to mean insane and not angry.
Nevertheless, I like the allusion to the classics:
“The girls today in society
Go for classical poetry
So to win their hearts you must quote with ease
Aeschylus and Euripides.”
