A Solution for the Bodyscanner/Pat-down Dilemma?
Clearly Nebulous ^ | November 23, 2010 | Colette Moran

You are probably sick to death of this story. If you have been watching the news lately, it seems this story leads all newscasts. In all that coverage, you would think you heard everything, right? Wrong.

A friend of mine who feels very passionately about not subjecting passengers to bodyscans or pat-downs posted this link on his facebook page. It is the homepage of the manufacturer of ISCON Thermo Conductive Infrared bodyscanners -- technology that doesn't use radiation but can distinguish between flesh and contraband. No pictures of one's privates. And as you can see on the site, there are portal and handheld versions of the scanners.

Why haven't we heard about this? My friend says that

I seriously want to know -- is this a viable alternative? Why is no one -- not any of the news stories I have seen -- not even Fox News -- reporting on this?

because the government specifically wanted the pictures of naked bodies on the screen. The present scanners can be set not to show them, but the government made sure they will be shown.

If it's not manufactured by one of Barry's cronies you can forget it.

Because who makes money on the current scanners?

How about profiling?

Not to mention that if they use the ‘above’ scanner, then the TSA creeps won’t be able to feel up young girls and little boys.

I heard that ELAL doesn’t exactly profile, but has experts who interview *every* passenger, asking rapid-fire questions and pulling out of line anyone who seems suspicious for further questioning (and maybe *then* some kind of search, if they feel it is necessary?)

The problem is that we are a much larger nation with so many more airports and travelers, that we would need a lot of people trained for this — even if we could get the current admin on board — but hey, look at all the out-of-work psych majors that could be potentially employed — they *should* be all over it!

This is not viable because none of the president’s advisers have invested in it and have no stake in seeing it deployed.

Soros didn’t invest in it. That’s a big difference right there.

I don’t think it matters what size your country is; if you have a good plan that works.

Look, our government is a big scam and they would like nothing more than to demoralize us into submission.

As long as they continue to look for stuff instead of for people it may have the appearance of working but it will ultimately fail.

And the terrorists know it.

(I know what you’re thinkin - am I referring to the islamist fanatics or Øbongo’s footsoldiers?)

Great find - it's viable, it's appropriate for the problem, it's the real solution.

So the only conclusion is that since the TSA knows about this solution, and chooses instead a medically dangerous alternative that creates a database of naked bodies linked with ID, then the real goal of the TSA is that database of naked bodies - not security.

As well as training people through fear and coercion and sexual assault to obey them, of course.

This isn't rocket science - TSA is doing what it is doing to the American people in order to get the results it is getting from the American people.

The only thing left is for them to introduce the "alternative solution" that they REALLY want - no doubt RFID biometric National ID. None of this is a surprise. It's just that the government typically finds the most disgusting possible way to enact their takeovers and lockdowns, as a part of their superior psychological genius understanding of the peons.

TSA's not helping the Democrats for the next election though, that's for sure! If they have their way, by 2012 you won't be able to go to the bathroom without getting GPS remote-unlock permission for the bathroom door from D.C. first.
