I like it! Good ideas all. I had a knee replacement about 6 years ago and have had to undergo pat downs ever since. Meanwhile my poor wife is stuck collecting all the stuff off of the screening conveyor belt and has to wait for me. Just stupid. I have a card that says I have a prosthesis but they never ask to see it. I just set off the alarm in the metal detector, tell them I have a knee replacement and without fail I have to go stand in the area and wait for someone to come and “frisk” me. It is stupid and a waste of time IMHO. Now, when I fly out of Toronto all they do is “wand” my knee to make sure and send me on my way. Much better.

When we fly, it's my wife's knee. You'd think advance warning and a metal wand over the knee would be enough for a 115 pound middle-aged blonde woman, but nooooooo....
