The only way I see this crap stopping is for people to hit the airlines where it hurts. When they lose enough passengers they will either tell the TSA they need to change their screening procedures or privatize their security.

Chances are though that this may be what oblunder has in mind. Cripple the airline industry, call them too big to fail, bail them out and take them over.
